He did a good job on this bass. I’m really glad to see that you have stuck with this bass all these years among the many that you’ve had in the past. Also, I like the new intro.
Great video! Glad to hear your bass, recently bought noise canceling pickups, high mass bridge and strings for my affinity jazz bass same as yours. I am excited to put all together and see the change, your video just confirmed that I made the best decision ever. Blessings
Sanding the neck is a little scary the first time. I did it with one of mine and wow, so much better. Just have to go slow and use very fine sandpaper. Cool video.
Killer playing man, I'm also the owner of a Squier affinity (4str P/J). I'm at the stage where i'm considering getting myself another bass, after changing pickups (for second hand japan fender PU), but my rationale is not so clear : do i want it for another design, for another neck profile, another kind of sound ? Who knows ? Modding my bass could just be cheaper and fun to do too, but oh well, uncertainty :p
re: LOGO: You can buy water transfer reproduction logos. You can also get decal setting solution from hobby lobby for $3, & you won't need to clear coat over it to protect. Strings: I really love Ken Smith Burner series, both stainless & nickle round would.
Very cool. I subscribed to this, the Lobster and Bully's channel. Caught the song collaboration, well done on that! I'm waiting for delivery of my own 5 string, should be today. Saw your review of the CNZ, and after visits to the music store and all that, i thought the CNZ would be a good fit. Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words!! Congrats on the CNZ. It’s an awesome bass, and is probably the bass I pick up the most often!! Hope it works great for you.
Your Lobster-modded Squire has some serious meat in the mids with those SIT strings! Consider that you’ve found just the right recipe on that 5-string. It sounds great and sits in the mix very well!
Another great review. Squires are great basses. They don’t get enough credit. Some musicians care more about the brand logo. Great review. Always look forward to your reviews.
Hi! Rumblin Man, I saw LowEndLobster video upgrading your bass, a few weeks ago, that was nice, I was wondering what you thought about the mods. Keep up the good work Brother!
Hey dude! I put some DiMarzio noise cancelling jazz pickups in my G&L jazz bass. Might wanna check those out if you wanna go that direction. I got a gently used set off eBay for $100.
@Rumblin Man good here! Survived Ian and Nicole lol. I only live 45 minutes from you as you know (the county to the north of your county...won't say on here to protect our privacy 😉).
Sounds great. Love the Sire bridge. Cheers

Thanks man! Gotta say though like yourself I’m really partial to the 70s-style basses.
Awesome! Thank you, and thank Lobster he seams like a real stand up dude!!!!!

@@RumblinMan I do! They are dead quiet when using 1 pickup by itself. I didn’t have to change the pots either.
