Marine Rescue Unit - World Drowning Prevention Day 2022

This World Drowning Prevention Day (25th July 2022) we caught up with our Marine Rescue Unit to find out more about the work they do.
In 2021, the MRU was mobilised to 123 incidents. 28 of these were concerns for safety. In the same calendar year, 5 water-related fatalities were recorded in Merseyside.
