      Thanks for the feedback.
      But wouldn't that make the video so long?
      Also, do you like the variety of tidbits we share or would you want more out of them?

      @anis.hdsouza 8 дней назад +5

      @@marketsbyzerodhait would only make the video long by a minute or two, so tidbits won't be a bad thing.

      @@marketsbyzerodha 13-15mins is fine and its okay to have +-2 mins with this range.

      Can the video be amde in two segments, first the in depth analysis of two or three topics and then tidbits on major financial/non-financial events happening overnight. We need a morning brief, but not like any news channel. We need it from perspective of market.@@marketsbyzerodha

  • @SimplyWallSt-bd2tz
    @SimplyWallSt-bd2tz 8 дней назад +5

    Agrred. Titbits may cover a brief of major events happening overnight. Those who does not want to listen, can stop the video after the analysis segment is over. We do not have a good morning brief podcast anywhere after Bloomberg morning brief by Niraj Shah was practically discontinued. I mean he does it now with NDTV Profit, but it is just for nameshake.

    When you were talking about debt you gave examples of Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Japan, US...I wanted to hear about India. Disappointed.

    • @marketsbyzerodha
      @marketsbyzerodha  8 дней назад +5

      That is a valid expectation and a miss from our end.
      Even though India is a developing nation, it has been very effective with using its debt properly, unlike peers. Moreover, since India remains one of the fastest growing productive economies, debt seems to be working in its favour for now.

    Algo or no algo as a layman options stock traders I can say with absolute certainty that sellers of options are making a huge killing by deducting on an average rs 5000 approx for each option trade from buyers towards interest, premium , other fees
    .This area is totally unregulated by Sebi etc

    I tried two different algo trade systems....both went on and on to trade unless capital was not sufficient any longer. Either it's algo or trading calls...only the intermediaries are benefitting not the in trader who is taking all risk.

    Retailer cannot survive in this unreasonably loss making stock market. Only issue Seen is restriction on F&0 trades. The antagonized parties are pulling the market down, other reasons for downturn is a propaganda, and a lie repeated 1000 times to make it a truth.
    Struggling to get bare minimum return 1% per month.
    Due to these losses, expenditure reduced by 50%.
    Lakhs and crores of retailers, cutting cost will lead to recession. Sure

    Even for US, debt is unbearable and Elon Musk & others have been warning of USA going bankrupt due to increasing debt. Maybe you heard about DOGE headed by Musk/Vivek.

    • @marketsbyzerodha
      @marketsbyzerodha  8 дней назад +2

      While there is some truth to the argument, it’s far more nuanced. Calling US debt ‘unsustainable’ oversimplifies the situation, especially given that the likelihood of the US defaulting is low. The US can always issue more treasuries, and demand for them remains strong-thanks to the US dollar being the world’s reserve currency. There's simply no alternative.
      That said, this is not to ignore the fact that US debt levels are growing at a rapid pace, with the debt-to-GDP ratio now at levels last seen after World War II in 1945. You could say these are uncharted waters.

      @@marketsbyzerodha Well that is the problem. Everyone thinks that the US does not have unsustainable level of debt but, that is not true. I was also under such impression until I looked at the data myself. And believe me it’s not as rosy as it looks. The US can always issue treasuries to borrow more but, it also comes with the Interest payment obligations. The US currently spends more on Interest Payments than their Interest Payments itself which seems concerning.
