    Hi Rodney, I just secured the IFP award for 2024/2025 and I came to say thank you because during the application phase which was a whole year. I kept coming to your channel to get the slightest information that could show I was in the right direction. Your channel really helped me and I'm really grateful for it. I'm off to Ireland in September.

    Hi Rodney! Thanks so much for all the information. I've just been told I've made it to the stage of applying to the universities so it's seeming a bit more real now.
    I had a question about living in Ireland and the stiped that the fellowship provided. Was this enough for you to live comfortably or did you need to rely on savings or other forms?

    • @RodneyRikhotso2021
      @RodneyRikhotso2021  Год назад

      Hi well done. You're 90% there. Once you receive admission then you will be 100% certain that the scholarship is yours. The stipend was enough. You can always work 20 hours per week to make extra cash depending on your course schedule.

    Hi Rodney, thank you for your informative video. May I just ask, with regards to the Ireland Fellows - Africa, around what month do they usually invite you to proceed with applying to your selected Universities. I'm asking cause after our documents were taken by the embassy to be forwarded to the management agency in Ireland, it just went quiet with regards to our applications and in the applications forms it says early spring is when we will be told to proceed and apply for our chosen courses. But I'm sure there's usually a specific month like perhaps in March or April. I'm actually really anxious at this point, and the waiting is making me even more anxious with each day 🙈

    • @RodneyRikhotso2021
      @RodneyRikhotso2021  Год назад +1

      Hi Titi.... 😄... I totally understand how you are feeling right now. I was in the same position as you..... Anyway, yes it does gets quiet but depending on how quick they review the applications, they will get back to you. Between March and May is when you should expect to hear from them whether you have progressed to the next stage of University applications or not. It needs a lot of patience more especially if it gets this quiet. 😊😊😊

      @@RodneyRikhotso2021 Hey, thanks for your quick response 😊
      You are so right with the patience thing. I just need to keep at that and keep praying all will go well. I guess if it's my time, it will happen 😊😊

      Also there isn't alot of information from previous Ireland fellows holders online as opposed to other popular fellowships for UK/USA. So the little that we find online makes a huge difference to us that are keen on the Ireland Fellows Programme. So thanks guys for the assistance you are providing cause it is making a difference 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

      @@titi.m_ That's encouraging to hear that Titi. When I applied in 2019 there was zero zero information. I struggled a lot. However, that motivated me to start this channel 😂😂😂. Let's hope in few years to come. There will be more people sharing on the experience.

      So I eventually got the email from ICOS saying I can now proceed with my applications to my chosen Universities so I did just that - and I'm happy to share that I have received my first firm offer. I am so happy and I am so relieved 😅 I can't wait for everything else that will follow 💃🏽💃🏽

      Hi. The Programe codes are the ones in the document for eligible courses (i.e. A1 or C6). When you complete the application form, after selecting the course you wish to do, it automatically fill in the code.

      There are countries where government departments are sent invitations to apply. Probably even some NGOs. In some countries it is not everyone who can just apply generally
