    so many trees wasted for this type of chairs?
    Are you planiting new trees ? rate of new tree growing maybe 10 %
    and cutting trees for these chairs maybe 80%
    so very very harmful for our mother earth,
    say no to wooden furniture.

      What should they be made of instead? Steel? Plastic? Those are MUCH worse for the planet than timber

      Extremely ill-informed if you think solid timber manufacturing products are bad for the environment. They are not only carbon neutral but carbon negative, any timber construction whether it be a chair or a bridge or a high rise cross laminated timber building is a benefit to our environment if protected from the weather properly, however there are companies like IKEA of it take solid timber blend them to make particle board and turn out disposable furniture, that's a quality issue not a timber issue. Your argument should be against these cement and steel and airline textile oil and gas industrys for the world's greatest polluters, not a sustainable and renewable resource.
