Hi! Sorry about the delayed reply!! I really enjoy bothy PLG and GFGs, and have been using my bags by those brands primarily for the past 6-8 months despite having several other brands/luxury brands! Some pros for PLG: more affordable, more variety with colors/textures/styles, thinner leather so the bag is lighter. Some cons: no personalization, thinner leather, more of a standard/basic leather bag feel and look including the hardware Some pros for GFG: leather quality feels very thick and high quality, the handles are soft from the beginning (PLG edges are a bit sharp at the beginning and requires some use to soften), I like the many personalization options such as adding the key clip and exterior pockets and strap lengths, open zipper with strap option, 2 interior pockets, I also really like the personalized card you get with your bag that has when it was made and by who Some cons: way more expensive than PLG, heavier bag, takes ~1-1.5months to make before you receive your bag. Hi Rhonda! You’re so sweet ❤️ it is a bit softer after conditioning, however the caramel color is a bit darker, more like burnt caramel 😂
