I have just given my life over to Christ. Literally, I just got baptized yesterday. After 4 years of going back and forth with my recent ex. We finally decided to call it quits. I truly believe that God brought me to this movie for a reason. I could see my recently failed relationship in most of these women. But God!! I am so use to walking away instead of allowing the Lord to order my steps. Thank you to whomever made this movie. It has regained my strength, and hope in turning a negative into a positive.

I went through this same thing in my Marriage me in church and wanting my husband to have a deeper connection to God. It cause a lot of downs in my Marriage where it almost cause separation. I kept praying to God to strengthen my marriage. I had to learn to be patient and not force my husband because everyone have different timing than others to build a relationship with God. All I know is to continue to walk in faith and there is power in pray.
This was a blessing for me it came at the right moment,in my life where I nearly stop believing,but I believe that God sent me to watch this, because it wasn't about being in a relationship it was about having a relationship with God first then everything else will come together,when you listen and put God first Hallelujah hallelujah praise his almighty name Amen 🙏🏾

This movie is teaching the importance of friendship, I like the way her friends stood by her during her difficulties and most importantly God does everything for a purpose we should always trust in him.
They were like Job's "friends." 🙄 Can't trust people who are no help during a crisis.

I like how the pastor counsel both party the lady and the man together and didn't just counsel one person this was how you do things right because my marriage was not like this my husband got all the counseling and I kept reading the word of God and seeking God holy spirit guidance

This is one of the BEST CHRISTIAN MOVIES I've seen in a long time. I love the togetherness of black married couples hanging out, doing things together as COUPLES!!
Yes, there were some flaws in some of the marriages, but just hanging around ReaL SaVED (or determined) Christians fighting the battles of praying for God to save their/her spouse. encourage them along the way, as well as strangers who is saved.

This movie was so good. The acting was on point. The actors made it so believable. It was a clean christian movie. I have given up secular movies and always in search of positive movies that promote living for Christ. I was blessed watching this movie. It made me cry, laugh and reflect on my own marriage.

This movie was such a blessing to watch. I even cried during the showing. What is wrong with me? :) Although I am single and still trusting GOD for my husband. I enjoyed the GODLY Wisdom, the influence of an Accountability Partner that offers sound advice and the WORD of GOD preached without apology. There is a need for more GODLY movies like this showcasing the reality of our lives and the HOPE we have in JESUS. I seen myself in this movie, trying to make a marriage happen when it's God that make it happen I just do HIS WORD and let God take care of what I cant
Good movie. The only thing is I do not believe that a Woman’s Husband is her assignment. That is not scripture. It’s more Patriarchal than anything else. The same commitment that is required of Women should also be required of Men. All-in-all it was a great film and I picked up some great tips, should Marriage ever graces my life. P.S. Women want to be respected as well, not just the Man. Respect is a Two-Way street.

Lol, the movie is called A NEW HUSBAND FOR CHRISTMAS. The movie is supposed to be dramatic for the title and script. Now if it was titled a NEW RELATIONSHIP FOR CHRISTMAS I could see your point. But you adding ingredients to a meal that's already made
I think there's some confusion in your comment, the assignment is not the husband, the assignment is the role a Christian wife takes on when she has a husband and that is to pray for her husband, go to God on his behalf, love him despite conflict or disagreement, etc. This is in scripture. Ephesians 5:22-33 goes through the responsibilities of a wife to her husband. She submits to her husband as her husband submits to God. Also, the movie points out, that the characters Stan and Kelly were unequally yoked as she gave her life to Christ and at first he was resistant. Her assignment became praying in the Spirit, and reflecting Christ' character to him to help win him over to Christ.

I think that the guy at work who spoke to him and gave him the book to read,also played that role when he was born again and his wife wasn't.So,I guess the man's wife became his assignment at that point.
It is even better to say that a wife is the husband's assignment since he is assigned the God given role of being the leader in the home.He should lead and ensure that the wife and all other members of his family,are carried along and not the other way round.

This is the best movie I had ever watch..at first I was going to watch a different movie ,but then I continue to watch and it was act out well. The words were very powerful, the fact that Kelly had faith believing in God even when she wanted to gave up, this movie really got my attention and it teaches me that no one is perfect but having faith and praying is key. Nothing happens before it's time. You might feel like you want to give up but continue pray to the lord cause best believe he will answer and he will fulfill. I wish there was more movie like this to watch which is very inspirational. There was sadness, drama, and the happily ended.🥰
I'm so happy to see this movie ,we may find many faults n discrepancies in it but the moral of it all for me ,Marriage of man n woman is sanctioned by God so if we allow Him to guide us it will work.i prayed for over 30 years for my husband to accept Christ as His Saviour . After years of him cheating and causing me much grief n sorrow he eventually did. We are now in our soon 48 years of marriage. God s truly Amazing.
