I wouldn’t mind hearing about piston speeds and/or engine geometry (like rod:stroke ratio’s). I bet this info would benefit a lot of people. Especially those stroking and destroking engines. I think this may also help in determining a rev limit depending on an engine’s application.
Thank you Jay. Always a great source of info. I would love to see an episode on rolling antilag and what stress it puts on automatic / manual transmissions
Jay, I would love to hear your opinion on using engine braking to help you slow down after a run, vs putting it in neutral. I have heard people talk about how it saves the rods, but I find it hard to believe you're putting more stress in the rods during decel than you are when putting 1500hp through them.
Thanks you to Jay and the RS team on all the great tech tips videos🔥💪. Jay would you be able to make a video comparing and the breakdown diff between in Ethanol 1R vs VP Racing X85?
Hey jay on the subject of antilag moving away from drag raceing ... apart from the pressure spikes potentially poping the valve off the seat with fresh air style antilag like in rally is this valve heating issue less of a concern or is the trapped heat still a large issue
Wonder how a ceramic coating on exhaust valve would affect valve life in a anti lag setup ? Or would difference in thermal expansion cause ceramic to fail ?
Jay tell us more about low level nitrous shit. You once said you like 25shot for the street. this could be used too cool the chamber too? I mean can we us nitrous after a run just too cool it all dow for those that don’t have the motor too cope with using it on WOT
If you guys can talk about the best times to use fuel. Alcohol, meth, e85 & talk about its corrosion properties & such. I feel like you guys talked about e85 before but not sure. Correct me if I'm wrong
Hope you guys enjoyed this video. If there is any topics you would like Jay to cover, please drop them in the comments. 👍
great video
Enjoyed
would love to hear "jays" thought about this: "can engine be damaged internaly with adding oil while the engine is hot?"

Always learn something new listening to Jay
The best information I’ve never seen anywhere else
Thanks Jay! This was another great video. This failure was definitely interesting to see.

You always make a video when I need it most about what I need, you're like a mind reader.
I love listening to you explain out stuff like this.
I’ll definitely be adding idle time after my runs now
Give us more Jay tech talks for like an hour would be bliss❤
Much appreciated, loved the info that was shared. Thank you Jay and team.
Great information on valve train.
Thanks for your time Jay!

Great video, keep it up! I can tell you liked talking about this particular failure 😅
Great tips. 🤙🏼
Awsome vid great tips also. Thanks

Teacher Jay good morning.
Boomers: You need backpressure or you will burn the valves
Also Boomers: I tuned my carb by ear

Are the valves sodium-cooled and oil-sprayed?
would this solve the ls7 problem ?
