awesome and congratulations on your new bike ! the color is so pretty! I'm waiting to get one but the stock for canyon ultimate will not be available in my country till June 2022. Looking forward to your first ride video. could you please review/ comment on whether if there is any significant difference in ride experience ( e.g acceleration, maintaining speed, on descents ) with the smaller 650b wheelset compared to the conventional 700c wheelset? Was it a better ride experience say easier handling and less toe-overlap for smaller riders? thank you. enjoy your ride !
Hey Yvonne, thanks for the comment. Just asked my gf on what she thought about the 650b vs 700c. Her previous bike was the Liv Langma with 700c, and she has done a few rides on the Canyon. One of the main things that she noticed is that the rolling distance is shorter, meaning she feels less fast. Because the wheel has a smaller radius, she feels she has to pedal more to travel the same distance. She did find that the bike is easier to handle, more nimble around corners. For her, the wheel will just brush the toe slighly, but no major overlap. Hopefully that gives you a bit more insight :) What size are you ordering??
@@pattnwia thank you for replying to my comment . did your gf find herself more comfortable on the canyon ultimate or the liv langma ? my current bike is liv avail 700c. From the canyon bike fit tool , 3xs suits me best. my only concern is the 650b wheelset as it is not commonly available in most LBS .
@@yvonnelee374 Ah wow, you guys are pretty much the same bikes then !! :P She is going to be testing the bikes back to back sometime in the summer, so I will let you know then. She did find the Canyon is snappier. When she gets out of the saddle to do springs, she still needs to get used to it being more twitchy. Ahhh yes, it is so hard to find 650b tires as well. I wonder if the canyon can fit 700c wheels. I will have to try one day
@@pattnwia ikr! liv bikes are pretty good but my current bike is an alloy frame so i'm looking to upgrade to carbon fibre frame and a higher tier groupset. after seeing your unboxing video, i think canyon will be my next bike. keep creating more videos! i've subscribed to your channel! cheers...~
totally agree :) The purple looks really good!! New bike update should be in the next few weeks, I still have to go out and shoot alot of clips. keep ya posted !
hey! a stupid question where I can't get answer from anyone online: is tubeless tire very easy to pump up? Or my way of pumping have some issue? everytime I try to pump up my tire, it only takes 2 to 3 push on the pumper and it will reach 120. Is that how it is? Or I might be doing something wrong?
Hey , i think you just have a high pressure pump Tubeless tires generally should only go to 80 psi. You dont need that high of a pressure. maybe pump it up and then let air oout??
@@pattnwia I think my english is not good enough to express what I really want to say. So normal tire, I will have to press the handlebar down and lift it up like 6 7 times to pumo from 0 to 90 psi, but with the tubeless, I will only need to press it down and lift it up for like 3 times? Is this normal? or did I pump it in a wrong way?
Great bike in awesome color! Congrats 🎉
Thanks :)

However, he would make an exception if he saw that you guys selected that awesome bike!
haha thanks !!
love the reference, I used to read that book all the time when i was in elementary.
Thanks for video!
Just wondering how much extra cost(custom, tax...) need to pay to ship to Vancouver BC?
Hi, it's around an extra 13% on top
@@pattnwia thank you very much
So many people getting canyon bikes! Where would you take them to get serviced?
Yea i know right??!!
I'd prob go to veloholics or any other shop that has a consistent mechanic to work on your bikes.
Service is easy, as soon as something breaks or needs a warranty replacement…. That’s the hard part
Just ordered the same bike! How is it? Can’t wait for it to come 😍
its great!! you will love it for sure !!
Hi! Is very nice ur bike… congrats 🥳. I have a quest, what sice it’s ur frime, and wheels? And how told r u? Thaks a lot
Hi, the frame is XXXS and the wheels are 650B
@@pattnwia ok thanks so much… but how told r u?
Very cool! How does handlebar assembly work?
You just put the handle bar on the steerer tube, align and tighten . Super easy

That colorway with the stars is so nice. I'd definitely rock it, but your new bike update when?

Beautiful bike, ongrats and enjoy.
Thanks 😊
nice bike i have a question when shipping to canada you pay hst . what is the duties imposed on the bike . from the eu is it duty free?
I think duties is like 13%. I ordered some smaller items from chain reaction cycles and sometimes I don't get hit on duties.
Congrats!
Thanks !
What's the size of your bike ?
3Xs

Sweet looking machine and quiet hub...nice! Some people like their bikes sounding like a swarm of angry bees. Not me.
Ahh, I'm the opposite, i love angry bee hubs
