@Coeball, I've been using this pedal since it came out. Trust me, it doesn't need a wet/dry because it loses no bottom end, unlike many filters. It works best in a full band setting to me. The sweep isn't as "wild" as some other pedals, but it really designed in a full band setting. I asked a vocalist who's not very technical and we A/B'd some pedals. He liked the Aguilar because in his words "you still feel like dancing whether the pedal is on or off. There's not so much."
Hi Norm! Quick question: how hard were you digging in when playing? I have had injuries on both hands for over a year, I cannot play if I don't play super soft, for example the volume gap between fingerstyle and slap is huge for me, I play really really soft...Last time I tried a filter twin I got the impression that I had to dig in hard in order for the effect to trigger, I couldn't get the effect without feeling that I was going to be in pain later on. Do you find it hard to trigger if you play soft? Thanks!
