damn , the way your brain actually created ways and strategies during your jee prep is unbelievable.. i have my jee mains in almost 4 months.. i think would only be able to do the short notes and flashcards but i really wish i saw this video when i was in my starting of eleventh! i would have killed it by now . i have been always studying day and night to get good grades but my jee mock test scores only went lower till now.. i think i need to work more smarter.. and this video navigated me through what i exactly need to do.. thankyou

4:44 Brother my solution to this question is of hardly 2 lines THE SOLUTION:- key concept is that force is independent of shape and if we change bottom half of the shape( keeping the volume constant) the force on upper half will be same and that on lower half will be equal so we will change the lower half sphere to a cylinder of same radius Keeping the volume constant we get h=(2/3)r so force on bottom half will be rho*g*(r+h)=rho*g*(5/3)r Similarly we can find the force on upper half by keeping the lower half as hemisphere and changing upper half to cylinder and it comes out to be rho*g*(1/3)r So the ratio will be 5🎉🎉🎉
