I finally bought a b1 open core darkus preyas today. Im so happy because when i was a kid i was never able to find a single preyas bakugan around and now i have it.
The B1 bakugan was a creation of baktoid combat automata and their subsidiary, baktoid armor workshop on the desert planet of geonosis. The successor of the OOM bakugan, these bakugan were able to operate without a central control ship. They were used extensively by the confederacy of independent systems throughout the clone wars era from 22 BBY and 19 BBY. Though individually ineffective, when deployed in high numbers, they could easily shred through most enemy fortifications at a relatively low price. The B2 bakugan were their stronger counterparts, creating shortly before the battle of geonosis. the B2 bakugan were much deadlier and more effective in smaller numbers than their B1 predecessors. They were larger, more heavily armed and armored, and possessed a wrist mounted blaster on each hand. However, variants existed which replaced one of the blasters with a wrist rocket.
Pretty good video, but I feel like I should mention some things The holes on b2 Bakugan are to prevent choking. That's also the main reason they changed from b1 to b2 (I'm pretty sure you mentioned that, though). Also, the exposed "metal" is actually the magnet so technically not a piece of metal. The exposed magnets got stuck in place after some use so covering them with plastic prevented that from happening with later releases. There are also only 26 designs that were made in b1 iirc. Bakugan with exposed magnets are actually not all that rare, but because a lot of people think they are, they can be expensive. Pretty much the same situation as Single Headed Hydranoid (not rare at all, but demand + people thinking that's rare = unreasonably high prices). They are rarer than Hydranoid, though. There are also 36mm Bakugan. Every reboot Bakugan is 36mm, but those are not the only ones. Each attribute in Bakutech had at least 2 Bakugan that was 36mm (Pyrus had 3 and Darkus had 4, but every other attribute had 2). The reason behind the increase in size for those Bakutech Bakugan was because the designs they wanted to make wouldn't have worked in b2. The same goes for Bakublasters, the Europe exclusive like that was originally meant for the 5th season of the legacy series, but had a rushed Release at the end of MS so that they could get them out (and that messed up the distribution, which lead to them becoming Europe expensives)
@@obsith He actually mentioned them being magnets later but referred to them at first as pieces of metal for those who didn't know it's a magnet to then mention that it's a magnet, but the holes part was actually something i didn't know either and i'm not gonna lie, i actually kinda like the holes.
Man why are bakugan evolution packs so expensive now, because i mean like i get it, they were limited edition and were the only way to get single headed hydranoid but like damn that expensive? Man i wish my parents got me it then (i was a young child as i am around 15 (all the information you need)) because now it's hella overpriced
Thanks man! I honestly felt lost when I tried collecting the old bakugan with the close and open cores terminologies. This really helped :D

GREAT JOYSTICK JESSE BAKUGAN B1 AND B2 BAKUGAN.
Fact b1 open cores are mostly made in japan so it's legit btw I have b1 pyrus serpenoid and open core
How has your day been
Thank you for the open core explanation.
Ive been searching all over the internet for the "hammersaur" bakugan. So did they even make it as a toy
I would check the wiki!
Nope
Great video and good explanation.
Also that b1 skyress is beautiful
If you're going to do a Vexos Bakugan in slow motion, I don't think you're gonna do all Mechanical Bakugan.
