Z is super underrated. Im a bigger fan of the other villains like Zanza and Malos for example, but Z really sets himself apart from the others. He has such an intimidating aura for lack of a better word. Great vid as well man!!
His motives, too. They perfectly reflect the Age of Reason theorized in history after there's "no need for gods" and individuals are respected equally, which paradoxically leads to total destruction for reasons like his, borne from not banding together before making big decisions like Klaus.
Pretty much, and I have a few thoughts on his whole “because it amuses me” reason. I don’t think Z was telling the truth and was using everything, to cover up the fact that he’s afraid of the destructive future. His whole aesthetic is that everything is a show and prefers fiction over reality, I feel like that proves that he’s not intending to be evil, but it’s the role he’s been given, so he’s trying to play it. Z is definirely underrated, all the same, whether or not this assumption is correct
@@Sherkel YESSS! I love it how very well 3 reflected 1's "there is no need for Gods". Xenoblade is really a lot about religious motives, it always baffles me when people think that the series wants to promote atheism
Whether it's in a space station above the sky or Origin thousands of miles underground, there's someone trying to shoulder the world's uncertainty alone. Great juxtaposition and connection!
Before anyone asks, the master driver rex skin is a mod

@@Doze1202 When I wanted to be amused instead of obsessing over this dying world, I would play Xenoblade. :P
True that, I suppose
