Spending Way Too Much Money to Ride Kiddie Coasters

- Today we're at Steel Pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where we'll pay a ridiculous amount of money to ride 2 bland boardwalk roller coasters! But hey, gotta get the credit right?

The amount of money we both throw at kiddie credits, only slightly degrading... But the race to 800 continues 😘
you're goin down😘
Sus
Imagine if they built a coaster in Alaska and people flew there just to get the credit.
There are coasters in Alaska! The Alaska state fair in Palmer’s showman is Golden Wheel Amusements who do fairs entirely in the state of Alaska, and they house two kiddie coasters - an Orient Express and a Wacky Worm. These coasters do show up on coaster-count.com where they have two riders, and only one of them is public for us to see, and it’s George Greenway, the 61 year old from the UK, world #1 credit whore with 2900-4000+ credits depending on the way you count credits. So yeah, some people have actually gone to Alaska for kiddie coasters. But of course there are other things to do in Alaska so that probably want the only thing our friend George was doing there. At least I hope.
@@RollyCoaster the funny thing is I’m in Alaska right now. However, I’m visiting natural areas and knew nothing about the state fair.
Theme Park Avenue yeah, the state fair is late august - early September anyway
I could probably go to college with all the funds that I have spent for kiddie credits
Eh that’s useless compared to the absolute adrenaline experienced on a wacky worm
Still cheap for a lifetime vice
@@5secondfloaterhill12 (as someone who lives in nj) TRUTH
Meanwhile Bay Beach charges $1 for their Gravity Group.
Wild mouse: Spins insanely.
Kids: Uncontrollable screaming
Taylor: “wow”
“Spinning out of control” Taylor in the most normal voice ever “wow it’s spinning a lot”
"Just a reminder that I paid over $6.00 for this..."
READ IT AS HE SAID IT😭
I love how Taylor just keeps on letting us know how expensive it was.
hey I'll be blunt about the cost of things- It seems fair to let people know how much it is so they can decide whether or not they want to pay as much to visit!
Good thing Sarah wasn’t there to laugh her butt off at you!!!
I LOVE the HIMYM reference 😂 one of my favorite shows
At least your Crazy Mouse car spun. Half of them didn't when I was there last year.
kiddie coasters are lowkey fun tbh
i classify myself as a coaster enthousiast, but honestly, I stopped caring about the credits. if i'm at a new park, i would rather do the (imo) better rides one more time, than "wasting" that ride to get another kiddie coaster credit which i consider not worth it. good luck btw with your race to 800!
currently watching this sitting in a hotel in atlantic city
Seeing the thumbnail my immediate response: "oh atlantic city"
The flats are so much better than the coasters
I’m so glad I don’t feel compelled to ride kids’ roller coasters for credits lol 😬 😂
I would absolutely like to ride on that! By the way, I like the part you said "choo choo" at the end! It was hilarious I would admit! 😂😂😂
You know you’re a true enthusiast when you spend $20 to ride two kiddie credits
head to wildwood to ride the great white, definitely an underrated gem in my opinion
In all honesty, it looks like a neat park and great setting. If you are a local to that area, I could definitely see it as a hang out spot. The coasters are acceptable for that type of park. Sometimes you need to go into parks with a different mindset, lol...not every park is a Cedar Point or Kings Island.😂
Weird, I was just here! 50 bucks for 2 credits...thats a huge scam. Great vid!
Great HIMYM reference 👏🏻
I can kinda understand why boardwalk parks in that area and up the northeast are expensive. They aren't open even half the year normally due to weather, they are all in states with REALLY high costs to run a park. And the insurance is probably insane. So I get it.
1:17 I see, HIMYM fan :)
Great Escape has got six credits for you : ) I know...the roller coasters are lame except for Comet, but you might like the theming. It used to be Storytown USA and still has a walk alice in wonderland thing and a miniature town and cute stuff like that that other six flags parks dont have. Oh and Canyon Blaster sucks but it was the last coaster ever made by Arrow so....histoical value??
That SBF Visa MX605 is the same model as our kiddie cred at Rainbows End in New Zealand named Choco Express. Possibly the only one of its kind in USA?
Did you notice the "free cheez" sign by the start of the Wild mouse lift hill?
I’ve ridden the mix there so many times at night it is an amazing ride except it’s quite short
Tuesdays at Steel Pier are 2 for Tuesday. All rides 2 tickets. I already have plans to stop on a Tuesday for that reason alone. Been banging out some of the Jersey shore credits since there are a few dozen up the coast. I had many of them, but not all.
I did the skyscraper ride at casino peir and it over the ocean and it was awesome
I'll spend the money for one ride on the Crazy Mouse but not something tiny like Locomotion.
bruh when tickets for a pier are more expensive then 80% of european themeparks
My policy with kiddie coasters is typically not to bother unless I have a child with me.
There used to be a Cedar Point Coaster Simulator.
We actually have the same type of wild mouse at the county fair that I go to. The only difference is that the track color is yellow instead of purple. It only costs 8 tickets to ride.
Cool park, but not that bad. I went to Alabama Adventure and Rampage was closed for the week. So I basically paid $35 to ride Centi-Speed and a swing ride. Most I ever spent on a single credit.
Gotta catch em all
Depending on conversion rate, the Olympia Looping Bahn costs less than that Crazy Mouse.
hey taylor! are you gonna do any reviews for the valley fair / mall of america coasters you rode?
I love y’all so much!! Noti squad!!
If you ever make it out to Myrtle Beach to visit Family Kingdom, they were offering helicopter tours in the area for $20 per person. Might be a better value than the prices along the Jersey coastline.
A side note, I have the perfect “would you rather” question: would you rather pay ten dollars for a coaster that spins, or five dollars for a similar model that failed to spin?
4:45 That Marilyn Manson moment.
Literally the only Jersey boardwalk park I’ve been to (and I’m from NJ)
OMG IS THAT The mix it I love that ride
Desperate lol 😂 it’s sad Atlantic City basically felt dead when we went twice a few years ago - like most of the casinos were closed or had no one in them. Just felt really empty from what it previously was
You were right in my neck of the woods. I actually work at the FAA tech center at the AC airport, so depending on what day this was filmed, we may have been in the same general vicinity
I planned this carefully so we were there on two ticket Tuesday to save some money lol. Then our car locked up on Crazy Mouse and didn't spin so we got a reride. Four tickets for three rides was a win in our book! #roadto800
Are you or did you go to Casino pier to check out the new SBF Visa Hamster Wheel?
we did not visit, no
Wow I didn’t realize how many credits coaster studios has
The wild mouse was full of wild mice (the mice cars did look wicked)
I count credits, but skip most kiddie coasters. The entire reason I’m riding coasters is because you enjoy it. If you are going out of your way to boost your coaster count by riding kiddie rides, more power to you. Hope you have fun on them.
Great vlog as always. Keep on crushing it. Glad you got to check the place out. Grabbing a surfboard and riding some of those waves looks to give a far better ride than the coasters at Steel Pier. I was salivating over some of those swells. Not so much for the coaster rides though. Cheers to you getting to 800 credits soon.
In Arlington Texas there this place with shops and it has some flat rides and 1 coaster its called Traders village
3:14
Have you been to Gavelston Texas?
Imagine having that ride at 4:44 at Glenwood Caverns... oh God...
4:15, I like those Wild Mice but that's just too expensive for one ride. 4:38, I've done one over the ocean and it is probably my favourite flat ride.
I Did Hornet at Wonderland, For the Credits.
AND THIS MUST BE WHY BOARDWALK WITH A HOTEL IS $2000
Coaster parody time the most expensive wildmouse
Is that wild mouse an exact replica of The Exterminator at Kennywood but just outside? Looked and Felt exactly like it!
How are you able to pick up so many credits Taylor?
Can someone please explain what credits are? I kinda get it but I'm not fully informed lmao.
How many creds does Taylor 🐝 have now
3:44 wow your really in the ocean
did you ride woodys woodpecker coaster at universal. One of the most intense coasters at Universal
You’ve spent more money on kiddie coasters than Universal tickets 😂
When is your bay beach vlog coming out
might be sometime next week!
Thx
Taylor, that is my home park
A ride on a kiddie coaster is the equivalent of 3 major rides at Knoebels. Wow.
Are you going to talk about how the three best coasters in America all had crazy accidents within a week’s time?
wait, skyrush el toro and what else??
@@perpendicularfifths7312 the Voyage had a freaky accident. Somebody died on it
@@perpendicularfifths7312 look it up
@@perpendicularfifths7312 wait, what happened to sky rush?
@@rivertownproductions the cable snapped
Will we see a park review of this place?
This place was supposed to get like a polar coaster 5 years ago. I wonder what happened to that
i went to steel pier in 2011, and they had a plane ride, i flew my plane up and stayed there until the ride ended and after the ride ended, my plane was the only plane that didn't go down. everyone was scared that i would get up and fall out, but i just stayed there not doing anything, then they got the plane down
Is there an easy way to keep track of what you have and haven’t rode?
Did you get the wacky worm at wonderland?
did not, it rained when I went so nothing was open
@@CoasterStudios Pretty sure its $6 now, so maybe that was a good thing
Been there ok wild mouse bad kitty coaster
I hadn't been to this pier in probably literally 15 years. All I have to say is, having went prior to posting this, you can make things look newer and fresher but what a dump. One of the rides wasn't even operating at full speed, stuff you'd find at a fair trying to power too many rides at once with insufficient energy. The spinning wild mouse sounded like it was scraping the rails of the coaster. Multiple rides were closed and/or hadn't been open period the way they were blocked off or down. The prices are outrageous. I bought 50 tickets and I should've gone on the kiddie coaster because then I wouldn't have any left and feel dumb cause I would never go back to such a place.
Multi-angle kiddie coaster POV be like
What happens if you don't get credit? Do they kick you out of the club?
Never riding a kiddie for a cred
What is more degrading: Spending way too much on kiddie credits, or going back to a park you have been to just for one credit, only to find they aren't running it?
Option C: caring about credit amount
You should've ran into the Hard Rock and played some Roulette hahah!
Texas Hold Em’s my game
Russian roulette is the best game
I would too!
This parks Slingshot is pretty intense
Steel pier sucks I’d much rather go to seaside or wildwood if I’m goin to a boardwalk park. Always wanted to check out Coney Island too
Steel pier is nice. Coney Island don’t go since the cyclone is the worlds worst roller coaster. (It might be the second worse but I haven’t ridden the wooden coaster at Warner Madrid yet.)
Those prices were pretty horrendous for what you got.
How much does cotton candy go for?
How many credits do you have right now?
Hey man, whatever it takes for the credit.
Don’t worry I paid twelve dollars for Dino Canyon at Deadwood
They actually have some nice flat rides. I would buy tickets for those instead of the coasters
Bruh I LITERALLY went here in 2019 and spent like 20 or 30 bucks to ride these rides and didn't even get to ride the wild mouse.
AC is a craphole. Drove into the city to get this credit 3 weeks ago...didn't even get out of the car. Just turned around and left.
Only 5 bucks a ride on the twist and shout spf visa spinner😂
I wonder how many people throw up on mouse ride
idk a helicopter ride; it sends and recieves leaves the station is well over 300 ft high with the whole thing being major massive air time. in short a helicopter ride could in fact be a coaster credit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🚁🚁🚁👍👍
Why?
Thank god you did this after College instead of before lol.
hagenmc
That's like £14 for 2 coasters
