In this Pedro's Pointers video, Aaron answers the question: How, Why & When To Use A Sea Salt Spray or Pre-Styler?
Sea salt spray will change your hair life as it adds volume, texture, and amazingness to your hair. If you're somebody who is sick and tired of your hair always falling down and not ever giving it the life that you feel that it should, a sea salt could be an excellent option. Sea salt spray is also amazing for dealing with bed head.
Alpha wasn’t a big believer in sea salt spray for a looong time.Then, he tried it with a few spritzes and bang his hair looked incredible. He was hooked. Sea salt is generally used as a pre-styler - meaning you use it before applying your styling aid to your hair!
The way that Alpha uses Pete & Pedro’s SALT - our Sea Salt Spray is as follows:
1. After a shower he towel dries his hair pretty well.
2. He grabs SALT and give about four to six squirts, making sure to really get it in the hair.
3. Then, he applies his styling product (usually Putty), followed by using a hair dryer to blow his hair into place.
4. Finally, he adds a little more styling product just to give it a little more hold.
5. Boom. Bueno Hair!

I just got this last week and the results are amazing I love this stuff my gf can't stop complementing my hair
I just use the sea salt spray alone and it holds great but it isn’t stiff it’s perfect love all the products
Now the last thing left for Alpha to do is make his own great quality clothing line.

I thought Sea Salt spray was just a way to get money but when I went to the ocean I figured out that sea salt actually holds your hair pretty good 😂

Maybe you could answer a question I have. I am wanting to buy one of your products. I have been watching alpha m and this channel for awhile but yet I only used the face care system tiege Hanley. I have longer hair. 25cm (10inches) on top and 10cm(4 inches) on the sides. Do I use the cream or the paste?
See our advice section for help. We have a selfie form and other tools. Paste provides med hold and shine. Kinda smack in the middle for all. Cream is a lighter hold and shine if you're just looking for something nice and easy. Hope that helps, def take a look at our advice section for tips and videos and hair rec tool.
I prefer more of a thin flat look. Fringe in the face. Emo or 70s vibe. But, work regulations require hair to be out of the eyes. I carry a tin of styling product. I juggle between putty and pomade. The tin is very convenient to carry. I used gel when I was younger. But, I got tired of the dry, hard feeling. I just want a high hold that still feels soft. Hair spray and mouse don't help, either.
Can Pete and pedro make a texture tonic, so it has all the benefits of a sea salt spray but none of the drying, benefits everyone that bleached their hair so it doesn't make it Extra dry when they're already tryna smooth it

It can act like a heat protectant a tad, but its main focus is volume/texture. If want heat protectant, grab PROTECT!

Will this work well with fine hair? I have a good amount of hair its just very fine and straight.
Yeah, should be great for fine hair. It adds a bit of volume and texture.

It is color-safe.

It's better for adding volume and texture. Although it can help. Take a look at TREAT Argan Oil on our site.

Daily if you'd like to. It's a pre-styler. Totally up to you how often!
Is sea salt spray damaging or is healthy and help me have healthier stronger longer lasting hair like using conditioner? like should everyone use it like everyone uses conditioner for healthy hair, and is pete and pedro sea salt spray healthier than the other ones?
Our sea salt spray is natural. We also infused it with sea kelp to help moisturize the hair, which sea salts will naturally dry out the hair a bit as it absorbs the oil (think like snow). So, you should use a conditioner with it or anyways and all should be good. Use it if you want more volume and texture. Give it a try, our SALT is amazing!
can you pair this with any hair product for drying?
Yes, you can grab a conditioner and/or Treat. Also, we added sea kelp so hair stays hydrated to Salt.

Does sea salt spray count as sodium intake? will this have the same affect as eating salty foods?
Any salt can dry out your hair a bit. It is smart to make sure to use Condition with it. Some guys don't notice anything, but some do, just depends. Nothing much.

I've heard that this can be used as the "main" styler, without having a bunch of products in your hair after. Will it work that way? Will it run out quickly if I spray enough that my hair turns wet? Thankful for any response.
It can be tried for sure. Its focus is pre-styler, but many guys use it solo for some extra volume, texure and light hold. Give it a shot!

Yep! Adds volume and texture. Doesn't mean it will style for you but does the first things mentioned.

I think the first step is towel dry.
Followed by the spray,
Then apply putty and blow dry into place.
Lastly sprit some salt spray for good measure.
What is he shouting about? Why's he so wound up about sea salt spray.
The words he's using indicate he's a fan of the stuff but imagine if you saw someone behave like this in a language you don't understand, you'd think he hates it.

This product did nothing for my hair. This company recommends adding additional products on top of this one. Makes no sense to add so many products to your hair, when one will cancel out the other.

@@Resist4 lol hey I think they are good hearted but I agree it is pretty silly to recommend stacking products. Surely the dandruff issue is a problem with application right? I mean I know a lot of people tha use sea salt spray and dont have that problem
But you also have to show your farhead
