Hey friends! I hadn't been to Lane Bryant in a hot minute, so I decided to go to their south Charlotte location to try on a bunch of stuff. I ended up only being mildly pleased (lol) with their selection, so I also went over to Torrid and found some cute stuff. Come shop with me :).

LB has gotten out of control with their prices - the basic, boring, nothing special pieces are so overpriced.
With Walmart and Target stepping up their offerings LB needs to check themselves.
The first Torid pants are draped perfectly. Don’t size down. Have them hemmed, you look good in them! 👍

The brown top 👍👍👍 I just wish it buttoned up the front, where I could wear it as a cardigan. I liked the black but it’s too pricey for my budget.
Loved the black dress on you with the rope tie, the striped sleeveless dress looked great on you, the red dress looked amazing, the eggplant colored dress looked so pretty,
Some of that especially the brown eyelet top from LB is too old lady. And I’m an old lady! Lol

Torrid has had a lot better stuff than Lane Bryant lately. I did really like the blue dress on you. Even though the tag says $99 it’s probably on sale for like 40% off.

I liked the last 2 tops you tried on from Lane Bryant. The prices have gotten so ridiculous and the quality does not warrant the price point! I used to shop there years ago for work clothes and those clothes lasted forever! I've had newer items that have gotten holes in them or worn out with minimal use. That red dress from Torrid was really cute on you! I love the different textures on the top part. I appreciate that Torrid has started doing short length on pants other than just jeans even if I do have to order online.

I love the striped Torrid dress and I’m an 18 I got the crop tie top (bird print)
In a 1 (sized down) and unbuttoned a button on the bottom so I could tie it higher!
