When I was a little tyke in the late 70's I was introduced to The Beatles through my mom's original copy of The White Album. I must have listened to that hundreds of times, and it led me to explore more of the late Beatles material like Magical Mystery Tour, Abbey Road, etc. But as I get a little older, I find myself drawn more to early Beatle music. There was such joy in the songs - you could feel that they'd not yet gotten jaded with it all. The harmonies were so crisp and bright, and the chords were so optimistic. There will never be another band like them - they are, and will always be, the best rock and roll band to walk the Earth. That is undisputed. And we were all here to hear them. Life is good.

Ringo Starr has always been a puzzle to me. He says "What's the point of being so serious all the time?" yet he says it with the most glum, serious, "I hate doing this" facial expression and tone of voice I have ever seen or heard.
Read enough biographies from people who worked with him to have pieced together that the Ringo we usually get is a far cry from who he really is outside public view. There's too many points to put down here but based on the descriptions of the 'real' Richie, what I see here is him being taken a little off guard by the rudeness of the question. He's keeping his face painfully neutral to cover his instinctive reaction while simultaneously trying to formulate a PR acceptable answer on the fly. He doesn't quite pull it off.
Ohh the gorgeous Paulie! He is so cutely handsome! He's still the best looking IMHO! George and Ringo are too polite. I would have give that woman a leering death stare. Love how as Paul was saying that John's more intelligent than him, John shouts a sudden "Thanks!" in the middle of Paul's sentence, and Paul starts laughing a little bit. :) Funny moment.
George had to have been stung when he was asked about John & Paul's songwriting. His talent always was underappreciated. I'm watching this a day after news broke of "Now and Then" getting released as a completed Beatles song a week from now. The BBC article about it only mentioned George twice. Such a shame.
Ringo "what's the point of being serious all the time". the only Beatle who didn't smile in this video haha
Rodzilla nah that’s just his face. He and George always looked a bit sad

"And it has nothing to do with you" - Lennon
So damn funny, loved the guy.
paul is so adorable
*The most transformational band in the world*
Paul was so painfully handsome
Still crazy about Paul after all these years♥️♥️♥️
Ringo is so happy !
Paul’s voice is so majestic and soft😍
The term "Mockers" is often credited to Ringo but he stated at another interview that it was actually John who first made the comment which Ringo was then given as script in Hard Day's Night.
I need a long video with just young Paul talking pls I could listen to his clear voice for hours.
Some good ASMR for sure
"Then the paper said I am dead. Maybe I am dead, who knows?"
I want my gravestone to say “What’s the point of being serious all the time?” I love it.
We play marbles....good answer to a crummy question. Love them so much!
"What do you and Ringo do when John and Paul write songs?"
"Um, we play, uh, marbles, or marples."
I think Paul handles interviews the best, dealing with humour and criticism
Ollie Short No,John did.
I like all the bits of interviews like this where they talk over each other and are just able to continue with their thought process
The moment paul shows up, gives me reasons to live and pass this semester being able to fucking hug him someday
I'm pretty sure those girls are not right there. Looks like they asked the questions from a different location and The Beatles answered them later.
That must be why they all sound so angry lol
Paul's smile is cute! ❤️..
Love you Paul McCartney ❤️.
George is so cool. He was needed in the group to keep sanity within reach.
1:10 - Lennon "thx" :)
None of today's pop stars have this much charm and maturity, they seem like actual men, even with their soft faces
Paul always sounds like he has something rlly funny to say but doesn’t know how it’ll go down after he says it
I can't get over how beautiful paul is
Love how as Paul was saying that John's more intelligent than him, John shouts a sudden "Thanks!" in the middle of Paul's sentence, and Paul starts laughing a little bit.
At the time of this interview George had written one song.
Paul talks so elegantly
Paul will always be Paul, regardless of his age. That little head tilt is awesome. Still does it.
I've seen miles of video of Beatles interviews but I've never seen this one. Fantastic!
