You are spot on about the reason they "torment" the guard with their music. There are lots of little things that point to that.
And yeah. Seungmin has grown SO much. Same with Lee Know. They are all still taking lessons to improve themselves.
They did a pre-filmed stage for Billboards. I think it was because of scheduling. It was still fun to see.
Han is the one who really likes rock. Because he grew up with it, His dad used to be in a band. I think Felix does too. Chan is interested in ALL music.
I'm going to give you the story list I give a lot of new Stay. It includes songs that aren't fully part of it, but I think it fits. Those I will put in brackets. The teasers & trailers are kinda important for the story line. So they are needed.

I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music.
There Is also a separate story line called the Mixtape Universe, or the Film Club Universe. It's it's own self contained thing, and it recently got a added film in the latest comeback. It follows the members in an alternate reality as they are members of a school film club.

And just recently there is now SKZFLIX that kind of follows an alternate path of the Film Club universe, and the Unveil track for Leave also ties in. We are waiting for Leave to get a full film. I want it so bad.
Considering that I only became a stay at the end of the Oddinary & beginning of the Maxident era, I have really found as much as I can.

if you wanna see more of seungmins vocal techniques and improvement you should definitely watch him in lee mujin service it was such a great episode and he sang such great songs with jawdropping vocals ( IN and Han were also on the show also hoshi, seugkwan, jimin ,wendy, kim sejong, and other several great vocalists, and of course lee mujin himself who has one of the best voices ive heard in my entire life ).

And, yes. I loved Megaverse, and the remix of S-class & LALALALA. And LALALALA. Both versions of LALALALA and Megaverse ended up in my work motivation playlist. Same with Blind Spot & Comflex.
And I would love more Stay to join the server. I'm one of the few active members in that channel & I'm horrible for lurking. One of the few other Stay in there is also part of another discord chat with someone we are introducing to SKZ, so we chat on that one more. I need more people who will interact on your channel.

They tried a new "concept" with the Billboard Music Awards, having most acts perform around the world, some livestreamed, some prerecorded live performances. It was... a bit odd. Not much difference to viewers watching at home, but I can imagine the few acts who were at the actual awards venue feeling weird watching almost everyone on a screen.

I felt exactly the same with the billboard version, i loved it, not so much the studio version.
Seungmin yeah, he's grown a lot vocally..
And Lee Know is getting better and better every album, he's been taking vocal classes more the last few years. Same teacher as Seungmin and I.N (just a fun fact(?))

if you watched the whole video he obviously does like the song and moves his head to the beat. not everyone processes things or shows reaction on their face/a smiley one when they watch something for the first time. even as a STAY of 3 years my reaction videos would be considered horrible to you because i just sit still in awe whenever they have a comeback and i watch the MV for the first time. his reaction videos are long for a reason, he takes the time to rewatch things multiple times to take in everything and gives his honest opinion with good insight unlike other popular reactors whose reactions are barely 10 minutes, they watch things once and clearly overreact for validation from fans.
