I love takeoff and landing, but couldn't you also include other key parts such as the inflight meal, cruising altitude, air speed and startup? I also love the audio quality. How I wish some other videographers would take a hint from you and some of the Japanese and British flight channels. The audio quality really represents 90% of the quality right up there with the visuals. I may be totally blind, but there's nothing worse than poor audio quality, especially when some videographers insist on using the GoPro, or they even try to tell me they can play the videos they made in surround-sound.

silly question, but... how does one get away with filming during taxi/takeoff/landing? Do they not ban the use of electronics anymore, or do you just have to be sneaky about it? I'm flying Delta to Atlanta next week and want to document the trip.

Jacob Begley flight attendants usually don't walk around during takeoff or much of the taxi. same with landing. just gotta be sneaky

No. You can film all you want, but you have to keep your phone in airplane mode if you're using it. As with cameras, you can use those, too. No need to stop recording during any part of the flight or on the ground.

Speaking of phones, did anyone else hear the phone ringing at 4:46 as they were pulling on to the runway?
