Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.
The pathway to substantial returns doesn't solely rely on stocks with significant movements. Instead, it revolves around effectively managing risk relative to reward. As an economist: Trumps tariffs are basically taxes on the middle class. He would handle the US as poorly as he handles his companies (see newest example of Truth Social Stock -63% in the last 6 months).
There are just as many taxes proposed by the Democratic party that would hurt the entire lower and middle class population and we saw that with the inflation tax. Tariffs are certainly not effective in what Trump intends for them to do in order for him to raise spending by offering tax cuts on tips and other programs including social security, but the Democrat party is completely open to applying taxes to unrecognized capital gains and raising the government spending indefinitely, regardless of the consequence of doing so. The effect of implementing tariffs to raise tax revenue is substantially smaller than what the Democratic party wants to do

📌With only 15% tax National and International companies will be incentivised to bring their factories back to USA and create more U.S. jobs. I think this is a very good capitalistic policy✅✅
TARIFFS are taxes on IMPORTS of merchandise goods. They aren't taxes for Americans. It's the sellers who are shipping their products to the U.S. who will pay the IMPORT TAXES. THIS MEANS MORE MONEY FOR THE U.S.!! Wow, should you get any of your information from CNN who clearly doesn't know what they are talking about? Who gets taxed with tariffs? A tariff is a tax imposed on foreign-made goods, paid by the importing business to its home country's government. The most common kind of tariffs are ad valorem, which are levied as a fixed percentage of the value of the imports. Source: The Council On Foreign Relations.
I think we need another Trump so poor people can see that cutting taxes only works for the rich and that everyone else relying on social services will suffer the most.
Tariffs are a way of changing who is paying the taxes. Instead of everyone paying a general tax, the burden is shifted to the consumers buying the imported goods. E.g., Walmart imports a Norwegian yacht, your neighbor buys it, they'll have to pay the tariff. Assuming Walmart passes the additional cost on to the consumer. You can lower the general tax revenue and replace the lost revenue with increased tariffs. IN THEORY. And it forces the rich to pay their fair share. But how many ppl buy private jets or yachts? If tariffs are placed on steel, then there is no advantage to the tax payer.
Without government workers many government departments aren't working especially VA, police, fire fighters etc.. because they rely on federal funding without that, they'll dry up and many state governments will suffer
In Europe we pay around 8 $ per gallon of gas. The price is tarif controlled (tax) with the aim to reduce polution (particles and smog) and greenhouse effects. So we drive in cars that gets us around 50 miles per gallon (some modern cars much more). I cannot understand why Americans are whining about their gas prices and maintain insisting on gas hungry vehicles?
I'd exempt first 100K in long term cap gains. No tax. Then, it defaults to 20%. After you make 10M in long term cap gains, you go up a bracket to 24%. Over 100M, your bracket is 28%. And over a billion, you default to short term cap gains rate. And, I'd change the long term cap gains holding period from 1 year to 3 years. 1 year ain't long term.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be an inventor. After the military, I became an electrical engineer, and I've gotten to help create some neat stuff. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country.
It is obvious that if he imposed tariffs on imported goods, this is going to have an impact on the country economy, especially if the imported goods cannot be manufactured within the country. Example: the tech industry needs raw material which cannot be found in the US, or not in great quantities to ensure volume, such as rare minerals, coltan etc. Since they are needed for the tech products, these minerals will be submitted to the tariff, which in turn, would make the end product more onerous (smartphones, Tv, computers etc), therefore more difficult to sell. But let him destroy the economy..

I am voting for Trump!! God bless America!
Weird how Trump/Vance can be asked and answer tough questions every day, but not a single one is asked of Kamala. Now that’s weird.

How is slashing the federal workforce by 80% bad for the economy?

Unemployment is bad for the economy.
Trump's administration was full of nepotism grandma.
From Giuliani's son to Mitch McConnell's wife.
Without government workers many government departments aren't working especially VA, police, fire fighters etc.. because they rely on federal funding without that, they'll dry up and many state governments will suffer
Well, that 80% will be unemployed. That's not good for the economy.

TARIFFS ARE TAXES ON AMERICAN CITIZENS. IT HURTS US.

It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country.
TRUMP ✌️
It is obvious that if he imposed tariffs on imported goods, this is going to have an impact on the country economy, especially if the imported goods cannot be manufactured within the country. Example: the tech industry needs raw material which cannot be found in the US, or not in great quantities to ensure volume, such as rare minerals, coltan etc. Since they are needed for the tech products, these minerals will be submitted to the tariff, which in turn, would make the end product more onerous (smartphones, Tv, computers etc), therefore more difficult to sell.
But let him destroy the economy..
No chance in hell Trump would fulfill any of these promises if elected.
He may give us 30 cents on the dollar, if he's feeling generous.. and he's never actually feeling generous.
