Thanks for your comment. So far, still no major issues. I've caused a few dents in the foam moving them around, but that just ads character. Ha :)

Thanks for the video. Wonder if you could paint oil over the acrylic base?.. as some artists do on canvas 🤔

Hey yeah, I think it would work. I did a test this morning with some turpentine and oil paint and it seemed too work. I will check in a day or so to see if the foam has any problems. I have use spray paint on it before and that does make the foam bubble. Thanks for the comment and all the best.

First of all I love your art! Reminds me of a mix between Egon Schiele and Basquiat. So cool. Also, this may be a stupid question, but this insulation foam is ok to breathe in and get on your skin right? I know some types of insulation materials are harmful for the body, although this seems like some true foam rather than a lot of the “looser” types of insulation. Again, your art is incredible and I really admire it!

Hi Realone, thank you for the nice comments on the art. As for the foam, I think it's similar to styrofoam as far as harmfulness to humans. It is, like you said, a true foam. I cut and work with it a lot and have had no problems.
Thanks again for reaching out and all the best, Billy

How do you hang these? Thanks for the video on this material.

Oh yeah, I should have put that in the video: I hot glue each end of a length of wire to the back of the foam. If it is a larger/heavier piece, I hot glue a piece of foam to the back, making a ledge to hang it from. Hope this helps.

One year later you still use this medium?

Yes, I still love this stuff. Recently found out the foam works with oil paint too.
