Even if you don't have esper's that can inflict multiple debuffs (Hilda) I'd still recommend building Calamity over War. War is a good temporary equipment, Calamity on the other hand is pretty much future proof since it's guaranteed the devs will release esper's that specializes at inflicting debuffs.
Before I get him, Andreas was my worst nightmare, all my runs took approximately 140 turns, now with JQ, Hilda, Ahmed, Kara and Meredith now I can do Andreas in 70 turns
I finally broke out my calamity set and took the leap to skill him up for the memes. Hitting for 200k nearly every other turn with his S3 is very funny. Haven’t done a ton of testing in PvP yet but I’m pretty happy with it

Calamity needs the enemy to have more debuff to increase his dmg, so if your team can deals more debuff to the enemy, the stronger is Jin qiu , not to mention teammate dealing debuff to enemy they also gains a base Def 50% and base atk 50% increase as well He will be a awesome pair with Liam as well but won't be the best since he wasted Liam 's crit dmg buff for him
calamity is theoretically his best in slot, but currently using a fully rainbow set that’s given me the better stat allocation has given me notably more damage than a slightly worse calamity, so i don’t think stuff like set is sooooo crucial on him, simce he has his innate debuff scaling anyways.
I mean I think gunny is the only one who can if she is paired with Jin qui because I have Jiang juli and he got one shot in Demon mode by ginney so idk
Relief set >>>> With relief set you get to completely forget about building speed. And the damage frequency exceeds that of the pure damage increase of warrior set. With relief you’ll be less reliant on your team doing debuff.
@@andyboston3646you’re already relying on your teammates for debuffs to trigger calamity set anyway. Personally I also prefer Relief because its less reliant on enemy composition and synergizes well with the rest of his kit.
I think you forgot to mention, he needs his skill fuly upgraded, because the cd reduction, is very importante to cycle his skills and maintain the buffs (sry my inglesh .-.)

ATK% is really only if he has max skills. Otherwise, he'll scale higher off DEF and you'll want to prioritize that.

What is skill up priority. Worth any abilimon? Max s2 for cooldown then stop? Or max s3 for atk scaling?

I remember last time when asked, the developers said calamity set shouldn't work with JQ's true damage. Did they also give up on changing this?
Yup i asked as well, but it seems like they gave up changing it since it still works now
I build war set on him, calamity i need to farm more atk bonus. He's good actually lowered my andras down to 63 turns.
Is it better to build just straight up attack and only one attack% or should it all be attack%?
Depends if you want your Jin qiu to be full dps / mixture/ tankyness
I build mine full dps cause I can recover back hp and shield from intimidate

Silver debuf??? This is the first i heard such thing o.o where can i find it? If the enemy has immunity can i still inflict convict?
if enemy have immunity cannot inflict, same as a normal debuff, but silver debuff is a 100% land
