Hi thank you for posting. I trying to blind buy a middle eastern perfume that contains aldehyde, but i don't know what to expect from this scent. I'm looking for something that projects and stays longer in a perfume. I'm glad i found your channel. Great info. may the force be with u!!!
Ald C-12 MNA can for all perfume types, but it MUST be use in TRACE amounts. If you love c-12 MNA you can put it in any formula that you like. There are no rules in perfumery with creativity. Dave
I wrote on the label. I write in red if it is Restricted like "R 2.5" means it is restricted at 2.5%, I put the hours on the test strip "H400" and I make a label for the discription. I also put a T, M or B for the note that it is...top, middle, or bottom, and if it is diluted, the % of actual product.
Please can I use this kind of oil with the ready prepared formula like chanel n5 oil and that for give it more projection and lift it up??? for example I bought some ready perfume oils of some brands like chanel n5 and before I add to it alcohol, can I add some drops of Aldehyde C12 MNA to this chanel oil for lift it up and give it more projection?????
I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. Yes, you can dilute C-12 MNA. It is best to dilute it in Perfumers alcohol because it is a true aldehyde. This is actually the best way to store it as well. In your first sentence are you saying that your C-12 smells light? What does “other note ignoring” mean? Dave

Just b/c I haven't looked at my Beginners kit labels yet... when you read what goes well with, was that something you wrote or was it on the label?
