I love television from all over the world at all ages, and this collection is no exception.
Now 2. When pop music was cool!
To this day I still sing the "Lotta Bottle" song. They don't make them like this anymore.
Young people today don't realise that TV ads are better quality than the programmes and shows they interrupt.
jim morgan It's already happening with RUclips. Short videos are becoming more popular than TV programmes.

31:40 Something rare in a television commmercial of the 1980s: A Pink Floyd song in an advert, albeit in a soundalike version.
In the US, you would have never, and still wouldn't, hear the word "glucose" in a commercial for anything other than something to do with being diabetic.
These adverts are later than 1980. I'm glad other people have noticed. I would say at least 1984 and later.
+Christine Haworth Certainly are but great collection. That distinctive rock version of Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns Of Roses of course is based on Carole King's song. My best memory of the Grand Marnier advert came in 1988 with the jazzy music piece. I am thinking of an advert for 'Glo-worm'. The song is 'You Are The Sunshine Of My Life' that was by Stevie Wonder. Does anyone remember the advert?
