An autumn wind storm whips at your clothes, howling across the acres of bleak moorlands and hills, whistling through the autumn brown grass, whispering a change of season. You find shelter in a small wooden cabin, listening as the wind rises and falls, tugging the very wooden bones of the cabin walls around you.

These wind sounds were recorded over a period of a couple of days in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Canada. During the fall of 2017, a Chinook was blowing in creating a powerful wind storm, and these great howling and whistling sounds as they pounded our cabin.
These sounds are perfect as sleep noise, sleep sounds, for relaxation, concentrating, studying, meditation etc. Continues for 2 hours non-stop, fading to a black screen after a few minutes to save screen burn + light pollution.

I've always liked the sound of howling wind. It makes me think of being in a little cottage with a fire and a day bed, hunkering down in the warm against the wind, maybe taking in a stranger from the storm outside and caring for them
