I'm from Europe and I have to give a big ass shoutout to Moosehead, it might just be the best tasting easy-to-drink lager I've ever had in my life. I love it.
I liked Alexander Keith’s until their little Jared moment, and then I never touched it again. As an Albertan I vote with my money. I know it’s been a long time, but yeah. I don’t really drink anymore because it’ll turn on me 🐍.
La Fin Du Monde (translated: The End of the World) is an unfiltered Belgian Tripel. About as far away from an IPA as you can get, and it is absolutely a great beer. Blue and Moosehead green, shitty mass produced beer. Reason why it is called Moosepiss Green. Basically the same as Bud and Miller. Trois Pistoles is a Belgian Dark Strong Ale, and is also very tasty. Xingu? Not even a Canadian beer.
Same here; I saw la fin du monde and was really hoping he’d give it the score it deserved… but at the same time I KNEW the labatt blue would be his #1 based on past experiences in Canada and his reviews in general.
Solid video! As a brewer myself, the reason a lot of beer in green bottles smells like weed, or skunky is due to the bottle colour and also light! Unlike brown beer bottles, green ones are more susceptible to light and become "light struck", which results in the skunky taste and/or aroma.
The Blue is pretty good. Not great, but a decent drink-all-day beer. Been a few years since I've had it, but that's what I remember, crisp, clean and light.
You know as much about beer as I do about penguins. You have your own taste made of cheap piss from large breweries and you are equal to that. I am not Canadian, but I have seen some of these funny tastes
Yay, the winner is the beer that I am drinking tonight!! First time that's ever happened. Also, Blue and Moosehead are the only ones I recognize as a Canadian. According to Google Xingu is a Brazilian beer.
The other 2 are made in Quebec, just south of Montreal. Guess it depends on whether you consider Quebec part of Canada. The only true Canadian one there is the Moosehead, as they are still owned by the original Olands family that started the brewery. Blue made by Labatts, is owned by AB In Bev (Budweiser), Unibroue was independent until they sold to Sleemans, and then Sleemans sold out to Sapporo. Xingu isn't Canadian at all.
Doesn't make it a Canadian beer though. That is just contract brewing for Xingu from Brazil. They also contract brewed for the Japanese Asahi in Canada...no one would confuse an Asahi beer for a Canadian beer. Lazy boys.
La fin du Monde means the end of the world... And that must be how it tasted...🤣🤣🤣🍻🤓 Alabama Chef, always remember in Canada they speak english and french in some regions..🤓
Your forgetting two Great Western beers and Original 16 and Sleemen and Unibroue are Belgium they come from Quebec they have singles doubles triples and quadruple and black from 4.9 to 10% beers they are good and there’s one of those beers that’s not Canadian someone was it thinking and that’s Xingu is a Brazilian beer and not a Canadian beer there’s a lot more Canadian craft beers up here in Canada that American people have never tried
As a canadian .... labatts blue & Moosehead are true canadian .... molson's has some great products for you's to check out if you's can find some somewhere in time. There are some other popular brewers like Sleeman whom make various beer types. Hell even the 1 grocery store chain sells there own brand of beer as well ( President Choice ). Agree with your results sir. Well done. :)
Labatt's Blue was Canadian, it is now a part of Anheuser-Bush portfolio. If it was truly made in Canada it would not have the Imported on the label and besides all American beer is piss water.
As a Canadian let me say, the only beer you tried that a Canuck might drink is the Moosehead. We wouldn't even wash our dogs with Blue. On the West coast or at least around my shop they only thing you better bring is good "Canadian made" Budweiser. Not that 'merican piss water. 😂
Labbat blue light is called Lady light, the regular would be lady. You need a Canadian to pick what beers to drink. My goto for commercial is Kokanee. I haven’t drank a craft beer for a long time, I haven’t drank period for a long time. I cant stop if I start so yeah.
From what you are saying about the Labatt blue you would love Kokanee beer. Its seriously smooth and lite as well. Has a better taste (in my opinion), Creemore Springs Brewery is another one you would more then likely enjoy. My personal favorite is Sleemon Original brew but that has as stronger taste then the two mentioned.
I've only ever heard of blue and Moosehead here in Canada. Every time I've bought Canadian beer in the US it tastes like a light version of that beer. They are not the same.
A lot of these Canadians wanted you to try generic crap. I can tell you Unibroue are more on the have one or two, people who enjoy ales and Belgian style beers are quite fond of them. For my money Pilsners are the true mark of a beer. Molson Ex is a proper old school, honest beer. May be round 2 you can incorporate that one.
Molson Canadian, Export . Kokanee , OV, Carling Black Label, Laker , Alexander Keith's, Sleemans Cream Ale and Honeybrown Lager . Dominion , Black horse , Jockey Club , Blur Star , India . Original 16 beers as well. Try these instead
Moosehead is reputedly Bryan Adams favourite tipple, I used to drink it in the 1980's when my local pub stocked it, unfortunately the pub closed in the 1990's and it became a Building Society.

i'm a canadian, blue lobster lemonade is good, it's not beer, when i drink beer... aside from oatmeal stout produced somewhere in the middle of the country, holland or england does it.
As a canuck, i'm disappointed by whomever sourced these beers. Why not try actual popular products instead of randoms that most of us have never heard of, beside the blue and the moosehead. And I haven't seen anyone buy or drink blue in 20 years. Moosehead is a one-off. Too many far better brews out there.
Distribution in the Nashville area is the main challenge with sourcing beers that better represent what Canada has to offer. We will work on getting some different brews shipped here in advance for Canada: Part 2! Any suggestions are welcome.
All that would be available that far south. And if you are a Canadian, and haven't heard of Unibroue, you need to get out more. XIngu isn't Canadian. Someone dropped the ball there.
I am sure if he looked at the label more closely, the Blue and the Moosehead were most likely made in the U.S, and I wouldn't doubt the rest were as well. If you want a real Canadian beer, you have to buy it in Canada, unless they are really imported (which cost a fortune) and not just imported license agreement to be made in the U.S. If you want a real Canadian beer, come to Canada. I suggest Molson Canadian, or Molson Dry, or Molson Export, Labatt's Blue, Labbatt's Classic, Labbatt's Ice, Moosehead, Kokanee (but only if it was made in BC). Try to understand, beer with the same label that is made in the U.S is totally different. The water is different, the way it is made, and the ingredients are different. He is drinking American beer with a Canadian label. Sadly, all of the beers made in Canada now are owned by American/Brazilian companies. The beers of today are not the same as they were years ago. Now, instead of using sugar, they use corn syrup and made in the cheapest way possible. If you want a real Canadian beer, you are going to need a time machine.
If you guys can, pickup some Flying Monkeys brand or some Crest 10 or Faxe 10 :) worth the $4 a pint imo. Maybe even a Bavaria 8.6! We also have a dollar beer, it's called Stonewall light :) It has a nice coffee scent and taste that is actually so freaking good and punches above a $1 beer LOL
As a Cape Breatoner (East Coast) all I have to say is where is the Alexander Keith's.....plus I have to agree with another comment....ALL the worst Canadian beer !
It's weird to see Lebat's Blue in a craft beer that's kind of like putting MGD in a list of american craft beers. Lebatt's abd Molson were the biggest breweries in the coubtey for ages.
I really really like India newfoundland beer. 5% and has a full flavor that I love. Alpine in newbrunswick is as close as I tasted to it. Labatt blue is close but not as bold
Blue is a generic beer, like Bud...Moosehead is good, Keiths is a good one you should try, and Sleeman's Orignal is the best for my $. Fin to la monde is a fringe beer, artsy people drink it and are not sure it 9% can be considered Beer, and the others never heard of them.
There is just one country in the World wich is ableto create realy good beer and this is Austria! In my opinion it's "Freistädter Ratsherren Premium" the best beer in the World! Alkohol 5,2%

first one means "end of the World" in French.........

you gotta taste the unibroue ones they're really good
Blue is commercial piss... stuff you drink at 14 years old hiding in the basement with friends.
Personally I love Molsons… Molsons Canadian and Molsons dry are my favorite. Our neighbors to the North make superior beer in my opinion 🍻 to you 🇨🇦
I'm from Europe and I have to give a big ass shoutout to Moosehead, it might just be the best tasting easy-to-drink lager I've ever had in my life. I love it.

Molson is not distributed in the Southeast: ruclips.net/video/j9K6fojqVZY/видео.htmlsi=r0UiJcNcApEfPhNK&t=648
