I was at this game, supporting my home county of Kent. Obviously disappointing, our innings never really got going and playing against such a talented Surrey batting line-up it never looked enough but what a marvellous knock by the late Ben Hollioake, swatting McCague and Headley - who were very good and pretty sharp - to the boundary on a regular basis.
RIP Ben Hollioake, such a beautiful strokemaker. Would be great to see his 70 against Gloucs from the 2001 final too.
