Zoe Mantilla First of all they both start with a quick introduction into a pulsating bass line. They share the same idea of taking the melody to shape the bass lines into different keys. The underlying percussion is very similar. Overall the track has it’s differences but in my opinion they sound very similar.
In my opinion, this is the best track in the game. I love how it makes the raid battles feel more intense. My only issue is that you barely get to hear it during level 1 raids 😂
This is a very satisfying theme to listen, after the stressful task of trying to coordinate 20 people to do something... not even work is so hard to get through

The only thing that sounds at all like Gen 4 is the drum beat, which is reminiscent of Cynthia's theme, but I associate piano and jazzy pieces more with Gen 4 than anything else.
Has a Kanto vibe to me. Well, it does have the RBY "Battle! Trainer!" bassline in some parts, but at a different pitch. And of course Johto, since Red's/Lance's theme is in here as well.
Its crazy how this song makes me cry due to I had a very long time alone without Friends and nothing, and thanks to this Game I could at least seeing literally the sun light and breath some air out of my home 😢
What I find sad, is that I like this over a lot of the SM music, even though this was made by Junichi, who also did most of the battle music in SM. IDK, I think we need music this good back in a Pokemon game. BW/BW2 was great from my perspective, and whilst there are some good tracks from other games, SM just didn't do too well in terms of music for me.
I love how this uses the bass riff from the intro of the RBY Trainer Battle theme. I also like how it has the RBY and GSC Champion Battle theme included at certain parts.

When you beat it, you get rewards and a Chance to catch it (WITH WAAAAY LESS CP OF COURSE). Soon you also will be able to fight Legendary Pokemon. Each time you are joining a Raid, you need to have a Raid Pass. You can buy them in the Shop or you get 1 Daily. There are Raid Levels: Level 1 Raids ( Magikarp Raid or Quilava and the Johto Starters) Level 2 ( Eeveelutions i think) Level 3 ( Gengar and stuff) Level 4 (Snorlax, Tyranitar etc) and Level 5 (Not addet yet, Legendary Pokemon.) Thats it!
I stopped playing a few years ago since my life just didn't leave me enough time to play, but I have some fond memories, one of them being a Kyogre raid with my local group under intense rain that almost made it feel like we really were fighting a Kyogre in real life.
