I just got my 950nb and I'm very happy with them. The only downside is low volume that's it. I tried watching movies and they are great with theater mode sounds amazing. My 950nb I managed to get a good sound with a heavy bass but I had to use external eq from my player which is jet audio.
Thanks Sean i really like this format for comparing the headphones I'd like to see more. The WH950NBs are do for an upgrade they were really nice when they came out. I think if you can get them for closer to 100 dollars US they're still worth looking at. 💯🔥🔥🇺🇸
Hi Sean, thank you for a pretty cool video as always but can you try comparing the Edifier W830NB with Baseus Bowie 30 Max pretty please... Their pretty similar in terms of specs.
Woah that's a Spirit S5 already?? I've had my S3 for 2 years now. I listen occasionally but I've never tried charging it because the battery life is so long and still at 50%!!
Thank god they open a booth during Comic Fiesta 2024...and i managed to tried all of them...and i agreed with you mostly especially the volume, for me the W950NB is just too slow
I have the original 830BT without the ANC, love it for it's affordable price, decent sound and easily replaceable pads - widely available aftermarket brands, but it's kinda long in the tooth now, it's been battered by time and battery is not as it was (no more charging indicator). Bought the 950NB last 2023, was good and sound a bit upgrade from 860, but aftermarket replacement pads are nonexistent. Seriously considering the 830NB for its decent price and widely available replacement pads.
I received yesterday the w830nb and did not open the box. It seems the 950nb has better sound, the most important thing for me, even if it is for occasional use. For everyday use I prefer open headphones like my Grado and and AKG K701 with Bluetooth XP-2Pro amplifier and Dac Xduoo.
Thank you, I was looking for this comparison, I would probably go with W830NB maybe
Glad it helped my friend!
@@SeanTalksTechHi, did you look for sound leakage in your testing please ?

you can try turning off the safe volume
@ngiws4402 it's off looked every thing I think my phone is not loud. But the thing is my SC q35 are louder than 950nb. 🤷

Great that you get to experience it and validate!
since the 800 series got an update recently, do you think they'll also be updating the 900 series?
Is the 830nb supports type c type c cable in order to use it wired from phone?
bunyi mic waktu ada background noise mcm tak berapa boleh tangkap jelas apa yg u cakap awal2 ayat tu...

Which is better in terms of sound quality?

You tested both the 830 and 950 ?
Just bought the 820 nb plus ans it's worthy every penny
Nice! Glad you’re enjoying them!
sir can your recommend me headphone suitable for gym usage.
how bad is the low volume issue ?
How would you compare the w830nb to anker soundcore space one, space one pro or q45? which one is better?
i have a iphone. was thinking about getting the 950 but they don't have aac. should i just get the soundcore q45?
Do I get it right - Edifier W830NB - are impressive enough for an old almost deaf person of 60? ;)
The fake leather ear pads are not great. After a year they break up in little plastic parts. Why not cloth???
The problem with velvet ear pads like on akg 700 series is you have less passive isolation and ANC will not be efficient.
Sean, last time I watch your video, you were a teady bear. Congrats for your weight loss
Thank you my friend 🙏🏽 I really appreciate the comment 🥰
