i love this video so much!! i searched a lot of videos before but still can't understand about the plasmodesmata, but this video is so good!! thnk you for making this kind of video, and i hope u'll always do.
You've taught better than my old schl teachers..... Moreover I know this...... But the way you taught is as similar as a biology professor......Nice to hear
Sir, thank you for explaining so clear but i have some doubt that is plasmodesma an organelle? and also my book mentions that plasmodesmata as a"cytoplasmic thread", so is it the linkage made of cytoplasmic fluid or just the pores that allows subtances to pass through? Would be much grateful if you can answer me!!!
Plasmodesmata are cell organelles. They are cylindrical structures which transverses through cell walls and serves as cytoplasmic channels to pass signals from cell to cell.
Sir plz help.....we know plasma membrane is selectively permeable .than if plasmodesmata is present than everything can pass through cell membrane. Than how it will be selectively permeable.
Nice explanation! One thing at the end need to be corrected - Desmotubules are appressed ER threads and they are tightly appressed to leave no space in the lumen. So there's no space available within desmotubule to pass signals. All signals ranging from small to large molecules pass through cytoplasmic sleeve itself. Cytoplasmic sleeve is large enough to allow large molecules like proteins and RNAs besides small molecules. Regards
He's very passionate
His teaching style is dashing

sir I've a question that through plasmodismata , the enzymes are passes or not .
nope
Small molecules like ions to large sized particles like proteins, RNAs, hormones can be passed through plasmodesmata.
Amazing...
You're welcome
Thank you so much sir🍀
