I may be in the minority but I like the longer difficult lock videos you make. Good work!
Thank you! 😀
I'm definitely in for this lock... Looks like a fun pick. Thanks!
+LockPickingLawyer Think you should at least have a shot at it. Maybe some later time but I definitely want to see you pick it.
+Vozzy thanks. I certainly hope I get a shot at this lock, or at a minimum, that it goes to a picker.
+LockPickingLawyer It just has to. Would be a shame to have this laying around in the naughty bucket of a picker who lacks the much needed experience to pick this. Yes, I'm definitely one of them.
I dont mind long videos! the sounds of you going through the lock while i work on school work is actually pretty relaxing.
It was the Coriolis Effect, Bill! You have to pick those Southern Hemisphere locks the other direction.
As a fellow Australian, I am proud of you Brent. Also good work picking it BB.
i personally, love your longer videos. I usually watch them to relax after a long day at work. so the longer the video, the more i get to relax and do nothing. lol
How fun is it to watch someone trying to unlock a lock? Yes, that´s quite entertaining!!! Thumbs up to you!
I want to take up locking picking as a hobby since due to disability I don't work and it looks like a fun way to pass time, the longer videos at least for me show that some locks even challenge a pro,it also shows not all locks are a quick pick, thanks for all the videos they have shown me a new hobby to challenge myself with
I don't think I could pick that
Who says we hate long videos? Seeing the whole story from end-to-end is what makes your channel so enjoyable
Don' t worry about the length of the VT it all adds to the learning and realism. Also you can really sense how much more pleased you are and derive that 'buzz' that all us pickers crave, when we eventually crack a more hard earned 'code' ! Ta La keep it real.....
this lock is incredible. I've just finished picking all of mine, and this looks like it could keep a less experienced picker happy for hours
I love your channel, man. You inspired and taught me so much through your videos about this incredibly fun hobby. I've gotten through a handful of cheap locks already and I have gotten my own interchangeable practice lock. I have some new locks coming in with higher security. I love your videos. Thank you.
love ABUS locks, great engernering and now mixed with some ingenuity, can't get any better!
i don't know nothing about lockpicking but i watch your videos for like month now... i find them soooo relaxing i don't know why:)
I was on the edge of my seat when your tension wrench was about to fall out thinking you'd have to start over! Send the lock my way, I would love to take a crack at this lock.
"My name is Inigo Montoya, you post lock picking videos on RUclips, prepare to pick a challenge lock." Great Lock Brent & great pick Bill, you just got to let me win it now. :-)
Thumbs up. My sister would love that lock. On other notes, Master Lock should absolutely replace their standard pins with spools and serrated pins and stuff, as you have said, and it would really make a difference, and they should make their shimmable locks non-shimmable, as a matter of fact, I think we should start a petition to Master Lock, calling for it to do those two things.
I bought my first lock pick set 2 weeks ago since watching your channel and I've had so much fun buying padlocks and seeing there durability buy picking them and would love to learn how to pick something like this keep picking those locks
Bill you make picking locks look easy even the hard locks like this you make them look easy. Good going Bill.
Very nice job Brent! Bill, you never cease to impress me with your picking skills. I highly doubt I could come close to picking that lock in anything that would be considered a reasonable time. If at all. I would sure love to try!
This lock and pinning is gorgeous! Also, don't sweat the longer vids, Bill, they're always great however they come.
please send that lock to me in the UK, would love a crack it even though I am a beginner. thanks for all you do Bill, the LockLab is a brilliant channel and the new site is a fabulous addition.
I recently purchased a circular tension tool. The one's i'm referencing are the Dino circular tension tool and the HPC circular tension tools. I don't see any disadvantages with them as by design it doesn't block the keyways and tends to work better for lefty's who can't use their pointer finger to apply tension as you do. They even have graduation marks so you can see the feedback from spool pins. I think this would make for an important episode. thanks.
It's always nice to see someone actually lock picking successfully while I am still getting the hang of it and getting frustrated.
This challenge lock has really earned it's name. Very well done from Brent. Up to the end i thought it would beat you ;).
That is a very impressive lock. Probably one of the most difficult-looking ones I've seen you pick.
Nice lock with some very nice work done on the pins.
WOW!!! What a fighter that lock was Bill and gorgeous pins. Great picking as always ;o))))
That thing is a work of art. I would love a centerpiece like that.
no need to apologize for the longer video. nice to see a challenge lock that's actually a challenge for you!
Definitely looks like a great challenge lock to train with! I love the great purple color.
Very nice work Brent and well done Bill, for not using any stinkin' key ;)
"BRUTAL" !!
Great pickin' . . ..again Bill ! 👍😉
I actually like the longer videos, fun to watch the struggle and the gutting :). Also purple is my favorite color, it's meant to be for me.
nice seeing you expanding your channel an community, congrats and good luck in the future :)
That's a mean ass lock. Nicely done builder and good on ya!
Thats really a freaking awesome lock modification. I would love to give it a try.
Love the ambient sounds during the video!
That was a very creative piece. Glad it only took you 9 minutes Bill!
You haz mighty fine skillz, Bill.
And don't apologise for the longer clips. I would more likely get bored if all the locks were easy.
Would love to have that lock! Thanks for all your efforts, Bill.
Great work as always. I normally do not care about the color of locks but this one looks great. I would love to have this lock.
What a challenge! Would love to have a go! Great job, Brent!
Woah, that was a really great pinning. Great work!
That took some work... would love to give it a go. Thank you for the videos.
one of the cooler challenge locks to come up in the last few videos.
Wow that is an incredible skill to make such evil pins!! Even I'm surprised you opened it. Brilliant.
I think it would take me quite a while to pick that one. Thanks for the video Bill.
Just started learning, thanks to these videos. That looks to be a *long* ways past my skills at this point, but it would certainly be interesting to try.
Awesome looking lock and even better pinning. I would love to have that for work. We have someone mischievous that likes to get into our lockers and take what isn't theirs. I hope I win this.
I do NOT want that lock, I'd go insane picking it probably. Have to say, the site is really nice. Glad to see you fixed the formatting in the You Won section.
I like your longer videos, means you had trouble and a detailed explanation.
Now that's a challenge! Great pins, great picking!
Never had a challenge lock before - would love to try it! And great site Bill!
Nice work Brent! Excellent picking Mr. Bill!
Nothing wrong with long videos, as long as they are instructional like yours. Lock please.
I like these longer videos, definitely wouldn't mind seeing more of 'em.
I'd love to win this lock. It looks very well made. Well done for getting into it, Bill.
That was a good lock setup! I would love to try that lock out.
Those ARE some nice looking homemade pins. Much better than my attempt. I'd really like a chance to pick that little bugger.
Thanks again for the awesome video and just to let you know; I did end up buying the Abloy 362 with the Protec2 key for the motorbike! Again thanks for the advice!
Wow that's was a great pick bill would love to have this lock thanks bill.
I love the longer videos. It's soothing to watch
That is a cool lock! I would love to try it out and then pass it on. Thanks
Nice lock. I've never seen pins like that. Also cool color. Keep the em coming!
Its a mad mad world! Nice engineering on the pins, by the way!
very cool workmanship on that lock!
I would like to get some beginner locks. This one I would pass on and let someone else who had a chance at it give it a go. Love the channel and the Web site!
Nice video, and a nice fight. I did not mind the length, and it's good to see that even the pros gets into trouble now and then! ;-)
it's so cool how they Mill such tiny little pieces to make it more difficult to pick
Another awesome video! I personally don't mind the longer videos. I would love to take a crack at that lock.
Those were probably the best homemade pins I've seen so far.
Just started making my own pins -- I have a long way to go before mine start looking that refined!
I'll take a little space to critique the home security on the website. A lot of it is good. Cameras: Buy high definition, and use it. If the police cannot clearly identify who is breaking into your home, they cannot prosecute anyone. Another tip, is have a ring of cameras that cover each others locations. I have seen 100s of videos of thieves stealing cameras, preparing to come back later, and steal more stuff. Usually they are caught on camera by a neighbor's camera. With the advent of cordless power tools, thieves are making their own doorways now, by cutting holes into the sides of garages & sheds. Put some chicken wire behind the siding. The Sawzall blade with catch that and make a horrible racket. It will also double or triple the time it takes to cut a hole. Some of these tips are from working on security systems for some of America's finest defense contractors.
I don't mind a long video I love all of your videos and great lock and Awesome job Bill:)
Such a great lock deserved a long video!
Thats one nice looking lock. Inside and out.
I love longer videos. Though I have no interest in acquiring that lock when others are so much more proficient and able to appreciate it.
man I wish I could get my hands on as many locks as you have bill and the right tools because the right tools make all the difference I got crap pics but I'm still picking away
Hi Bill. i actualy dont have enything bad to say for the long videos, it just show that there is some more challengeing locks in the pile. keep up the great work :D
Love Abus Locks...... and a rare purple one with funky pins......Yes Please!
That was one nasty lock. I would definitely put that one the display shelf with some of the others I have tried. It's not so much a shelf more like a line of embedded locks in the drywall. Line seems to be getting straighter as I add more locks.............
I just started lock picking about a month ago after finding your channel somehow. Today at the base it came in handy as we had to get a special tool to remove an input shaft off one of our Uh-60s and the locker key had gone commando. Popped it open and I was instantly the new go to guy when keys are lost and the first go to guy when stuff goes missing.... Apparently I get to practice more tomorrow as one of our guys locked his keys in his garage.
I've been teaching my daughter to pick Master no3's, so this one looks like it might go on the liquor cabinet in a few years.
Brent must moonlight as a jeweler. Truly wicked.
that would be a gr8 practice lock , i could defiantly learn something from that!
9 freaking minutes that is one hell of a lock right there
Thank you for the videos. I really enjoy them, keep them coming 😊
Nice. I'd likely have no luck picking that, but I sure wouldn't mind attempting...
An amazing lock! I probably wouldn't be able to pick it. But I'll try
I just took my first lack apart today, this one would be great to work with.
Don't know how I'd be able to pick this but I could definitely use it on a storage unit for the summer!
This is some alien technology right there. Nice Lock, would love to give it a try.
Tough little lock! Excellent pick Bill
Well done, that looked quite challenging!
I would like to try and pick that lock. Thanks bill great video.
Well done Brent, a very nice challenge lock. I do hope I get a chance to pick it.
Congrats Brent an such an awesome pinning!
Love the color as well as the difficulty!
This looks like a good challenge. It'll take me months before I can pick it, because I've only been picking for two days!
