  • Join us as we explore the latest innovations from JLC Live! Our team was on the ground at the event, getting the scoop on cutting-edge products and techniques in the construction industry.
First up, we stopped by the Sashco booth, where Zach shares his decade-long experience using Sashco products. He highlights the versatility of Big Stretch, particularly its usefulness in matching custom cabinets crown to the ceiling.
Next, we swung by the Velux booth, where we learned about their skylights' durability from Zach, who's been using their products for years. Their skylights are so reliable that Wade found original Velux skylights in a 38-year-old property he recently purchased in Vermont.
Moving on, we visited the Harvest Homes Company booth, where Lance impressed us with their customizable panelization system for floors and walls. They engineer the entire house, from foundation to roof trusses, offering efficiency and customization.
At the Da Vinci booth, Chris introduced us to their roofing materials, which mimic the look of slate and cedar but are made from durable polymer. These materials are designed to withstand the elements and hold their color long-term.
Finally, we explored the Vertex booth, where Josh showcased their range of trim products and siding solutions. Their products are designed for efficiency, durability, and ease of installation, making them a go-to choice for contractors.
Stay tuned for more in-depth videos on these products and techniques as we dive deeper into the world of construction innovation. Don't forget to subscribe for more updates and join us on Facebook and Instagram for behind-the-scenes content. Thanks for watching, and we'll see you next time on The Build Show!

    Matt & Steve!
Wow, Harvest homes sounds amazing! We need them to expand into more areas ... like coastal NC!
These guys appear to be one step ahead of the efficiency curve here!
I bet being in a factory, each nail thru the Zip is perfect depth and finished properly!
Man, I've been looking at lots of homes with Zip sheathing, and I must say that the trades are making a mess with nail heads sticking up and poor placements!
Cutest ending yet with all the trade school kids joining in! 😎👍
    Awesome feature, brothers!

As a roofer I always loved working with slate and cedar. If it wasn't for the cost I would have used slate on my current home. I have not been tracking it for some time, but I am glad more companies are trying to do slate-like and cedar-like roofing solutions. When the first runs of synthetic mock slates came out, years ago, they were heavily prone to contraction and cupping over time. I am sure that most of that is probably solved with that reinforcing ribbing. Good luck in the future!

Love the composite roofs and siding. All roofs should be durable and last more than 50 years.
Composite materials should be used for roofs, decking and siding to increase the life of homes.
Using materials that are not impacted by water is so smart. Water is the enemy of buildings.
Design and build buildings to last for generations with products that are long lasting.

Those slate products look interesting , hopefully the price per sq foot is reasonable since I would love to work with it.

@@bastiat691 Right, obviously they’re Danish. I was just asking about their US based satellite. The same way manufacturers open up factories abroad.
