Groups will often have something at the front (in this case that doll) to simulate the edge of the stage so that they don't move too far forward and end up falling off. I've seen everything from plastic bottles to rolls of toilet paper be used for this purpose haha
In this dance practice, the doll actually represents Wonwoo because he was sick and couldn't participate in the video

THEY CHOREOGRAPH THEIR OWN DANCES TOO
SVT is known for their clean choreo. My favorite so far is their song Fast Pace and Don't Want To Cry. My favorite subunit is the Performance Unit of Hoshi (choreographer), Minghao, Jun and Dino (baby). I'm Chinaline biaded, which is Jun & The8, who released their own MV for their solo single My I. The duet dance for My I is freaking awesome!
The fox doll is representing one of their rappers (Wonwoo) who was out for a while really sick.

I know the fox doll had special meaning in this one, but I think a lot of groups use centre pieces in their dance practices to show them where the centre of the camera frame is and how close they can get and still be completely in frame, it's to help the filming. But a lot of the time they'll decide their centre pieces based on something, like sick Wonwoo in this, and there was an Astro dance practice (I can't remember which one) where they played rock paper scissors and the winner got to put their little figurine at the front.

the 'bear' in the front is a plush animal (i think it's a fox?) version of one of the members, wonwoo. he wasn't in the video because i believe he was injured at the time? so with the plush he was there in spirit :) and seventeen always has something in the front of their dance practices, usually a physical album copy
I love their "i dont wanna cry" choreo and mv. They are great and these choreo clips are the best u get to really appreciate all of the steps. And the live performances are always bonus

Seventeen's choreo is always so clean! Mansae, Highlight, Lililli Yabbay, Thanks and Boom Boom are really good too, you should check them out! (Lililli Yabbay is just the dance line, as some others have explained, and there's a performance unit version and a 13-member version of Highlight's choreo, either is good but it depends what the others want you to see)
HOWEVER! Don't Wanna Cry is a MUST. It won best male dance at the 2017 MAMA Awards at the end of December it was that good, plus the song is a BOP. Honestly not one of them is off-beat and the choreo is just so aesthetically pleasing and satisfying to watch.

I'm so proud of seventeen everytime dancers react to their dance performances :')) they make all their songs and choreos by themselves so it's nice to see such positive feedback on their work!! I've become their fan when they debuted back in 2015 and honestly, they've always come out with amazing content and it's mind-blowing how they ALWAYS manage to upgrade even further... I thought that "don't wanna cry" was the best possible thing they could ever come up with but then they came back with their recent song "thanks"... tbh I couldn't believe a choreo like that could ever exist. literal perfection.😍 it'd be so nice if you could react to those at some point~ >< also "MY I" by seventeen's two chinese members and "13th month's dance" (also known as "lilili yabbay") by performance team are some of their best dance performances and I reeeally recommend to check those out!😁

OH MY GOSH! I can’t believe you’ve reacted to Seventeen! They’re so talented and their coreo is amazing! The way they are in sync and the moves are really cool to watch. Ik that this was a year ago, but they’ve just go better and better! I recommend watching their new comeback Getting Closer because they go hard and do a dark concept that is different and new. So far have been binge watching your react videos and it’s so cool how you react and get into it. Those reactions I only see from dance videos in the background or performances or when I go to concerts 😂 but yeah I hope you continue to watch kpop and see the fun coreos! 👌🏻💕

SEVENTEEN is known for being self producing idols because they produce and choreograph their own songs. My favorite choreos of them are Dont Wanna Cry and Thanks. Hope you make a reaction to them too.
honestly im mutlifandom when i comes to kpop. but seventeen has one of the best choreograhies out there. and as they are a self - producing group it makes it even special. i think you should definitely check out their other videos too :)

seventeen's choreo just gets better as they continue: Don't Wanna Cry, Thanks, and Lilili Yabbay (the last being a unit performance, so only part of seventeen - their dance (known as "performance") unit is in it) are some of their most iconic, in my own opinion, but Pretty U and Thanks are really unique and individualistic.
the best thing about seventeen when you see them dance is that they choreographed their own dances
also, the teddy bear in this video was to represent Wonwoo who is a member, he was sick when they recorded and it also shows the middle.
One of their members was sick at this time, so the doll was a representation of him. They've done that a couple of times actually. The dolls are highly representative tbh. it's usually a little doll character that reminds them of the other member as well. It's quite cute and wholesome really
Fun fact: Seventeen choreographs all their songs themselves! Also, Seventeen and ASTRO are, in my opinion, the two top groups in terms of synchronicity. You'll love all of their stuff!

Seventeen member is the one who made their own choreography
The teddy bear was actually a fox plushie! One of the members was out sick for a while, so they started taking the fox with them everywhere as if it was Wonwoo(the missing member hehe) it was really cute
the teddy was not only to create a center point for the group but also represented one group member that was ill at that time :)

the fox stuffed animal in the front is supposed to represent one of their missing member (who was on hiatus for a while because of a medical condition) so as a way to include him and remember him during promotions, they used this fox stuffed animal. it really shows their love and bond for each other, they really wanted to include him even if he though wasn't there
SEVENTEEN is known for their knife-cut choreography and synchronization. They also make their choreography and songs! (Self-producing idols)

Seventeen produces their own choreography and Hoshi (the main choreographer of the group) produces all their dances with help of other members in the Performance Unit as well as staff. However Hoshi incorporates real-life experience into his dances, in order to further enhance the emotionally state of each song. From debut, Seventeen had a more fun and lively vibe and as they are getting mature with each comeback - their songs and choreo have been emotionally-driven and fan-based. It would be amazing if you could react to Don't Wanna Cry, Thanks, Pretty U (LOVE ver) and Lilili Yabbay!!!

Thank you for this reaction!! It's always great to hear comments from performers, especially now that the kpop react community is growing. I'm glad you enjoyed their clean and creative choreos which, I must mention, they actually have a heavy part in choreographing themselves (mainly by Hoshi, the guy in the red shirt and cap). They also play a huge role in the song writing and Woozi (the short one) is their producer and composer too.
If I may ask, could you please react to Seventeen's 'Don't Wanna Cry'? In terms of dancing, it's more contemporary compared to other kpop group dances, and it's an emotionally powerful performance. To be fair, I believe all their choreos are brilliant but 'Don't Wanna Cry', 'Lilili Yabbay' and 'Thanks' are more akin to performance art.
