Thank you Josh. I recognize the holy spirit working in you. I was saved from a radical athiest stance not long ago, and my eyes have been opened up to so much so quickly. Its a transformation i can't take credit for. I want SO MUCH to give people what was given to me, and i sometimes think that people would be willing to change if they knew just how ruthless/cunning/decietful/despicable the demonic spiritual realm is. If they would only hear demons being interviewed by a deliverance minister. If they would see how they tremble when the name of Jesus is Uttered. Just say "Jesus save me, i want to know the truth"

That "shock" after reading the bible for yourself I experienced incredibly daily last year (I came to Christ in January 2014) while I would read it repeatedly at work. Two groups of scriptures that have yet to leave me from that "shock" are Matthew 7:13-14, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. Never knew this rowing up either because that is NOT what we were told at home, kiddy church, etc. Keep providing truth. Thank you.

We bear fruit because it's a commandment of God, we obey Him because it's a commandment. From my time in the Bible, I see that real faith is trusting and obeying God. His promises are for those who truly fear Him, trust and obey Him. So read the Bible and obey it, we will all give an account.

The truth is that God ONLY requires a childlike-faith to be saved. Does God want us to follow Him? Yes... but not in order to get saved. Our best self-righteous works are filth in the sight of God (Isaiah 64:6). Following Christ is a matter of discipleship, not sonship. Lordship Salvation is ROOTED in self-righteousness, because it requires a person to make an effort to clean up their own life as a prerequisite to placing their faith in Christ. This is a false plan of salvation that does not produce the new birth.
+gldesmarais9356 No, God Requires repentance and being born again. If you don't follow him then your not saved. Jesus said my sheep hear my voice, I know them and they FOLLOW me. only few find that narrow path, and a path is something you follow. Jesus also said DENY yourself, that requires personal effort and is a fruit of genuine faith. Even the devils believe, so if all you do is believe then you are no better then the demons.

The demons are those angels that followed Lucifer when he said in his heart, "I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God, I will sit also upon the mount of congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most high" (Isaiah 14:13, 14). Now in verse 15 God says, "Yet thou shalt be brought down to Hell, to the sides of the pit." In Matthew 25:41 we are told that God created the everlasting fire for the devil and his angels (now demons). "Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." Their sentence is already passed, do they believe it? Absolutely! Remember, some of the most wicked demons are chained in place called "Tartarus" awaiting their final destiny in everlasting fire ( 2nd Peter 2:4 and Jude 6). The demons that are not chained know this and believe. They also believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Mark 5), but they believed too late. They should have joined the angels that believed and followed God instead of following the Devil. You see, they believe now because they have seen God's judgment but now it is too late.

I see your passion, but the true bible is not in a book or a church, when, you are truly saved, you become the bible (*soul, spirit, mind, and body).

Apostate evangelist, Billy Graham, teaches Lordship Salvation, requiring that people “count the cost” to be saved. My friend, there is no cost to mankind for salvation, because Jesus paid the price of our sins with His own precious blood, which is sprinkled on the Mercy Seat in the heavenly Holy Place (Hebrews 9:12,24;12:24). Jesus died upon the cross for our sins, He was buried, and He resurrected from the dead three days later according to 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. This is the “gospel” (good news) that brings salvation to those who believe (Romans 1:16; John 1:12). We are saved by completely RESTING in Christ for salvation (Hebrews 4:10-11).
+gldesmarais9356 You literally reject the words of Christ when you say there is no cost. Paul said let us LABOUR therefore to enter that rest. we are not in rest until we are in heaven. That's why Jesus said STRIVE to enter in at the strait gate. Jesus said he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. But most 'theologians' will say that not all of matt 24 is for this dispensation either and that particular scripture does not apply to us. Paul said I PRESS toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. He also said let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, IF we faint not. If you do not have a burden to win souls and your not zealous of good works, you should do what peter said and make you calling and election sure. Sitting around and pretending to believe is not bearing any good fruit. Because they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
+Josh Coen - God's salvation is so free and simple that mankind cannot fathom it... "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ" (2nd Corinthians 11:3). Men complicate things! People either add or subtract from the simple Gospel message. Why is it so hard to accept the notion that a loving God in Heaven would want to redeem mankind? Romans 3:4 proclaims, "Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar..." The Bible says what It says, and we must accept It at face value. There are so many false prophets nowadays, who preach a perverted gospel of damnation. Why can't people just rest in the wonderful words of Romans 4:5, "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." There is absolutely nothing we can do to merit salvation, or even help to save ourselves. If there were, then Jesus wouldn't have had to die upon the cross for our sins, but He did. I KNOW I am saved NOW, PRESENTLY, because I have a genuine faith in my heart in the Lord. If I go to Hell, it will be Jesus' fault because I'm trusting Him 100%. There's a natural tendency for people to feel some type of personal obligation in salvation. It's difficult for some people to grasp the idea that God would freely forgive them and allow them into Heaven. If you come to Jesus as a Hell-deserving sinner, and placed your trust in His shed blood to take away your sins, then you are saved certain. “In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” -Colossians 1:14

We are bought with a price and it is our reasonable service to present our bodies as a living sacrifice as Paul said in rom 12: 1. A friend of the world is an enemy of God and if you think you can be unfruitful and live in sin and still go to heaven then you are deceived. And if the righteous SCARCELY be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
+Josh Coen - Like it or not, the Word of God teaches that it's easy to be saved... “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). YOU ARE A SINNER! Unless you accept Christ's payment for your sins, you will spend eternity burning in the Lake of Fire. Anyone who says that it's not easy to be saved is teaching ANOTHER GOSPEL (2nd Corinthians 11:3-4). The good news of Christ's death upon the cross for our sins, and His burial, and His resurrection from the dead is all that you need to trust upon to get to Heaven. If you admit that you are a sinner, and you receive the gospel as full payment for your sins, then you are saved forever. Subtracting or adding anything more is a false plan of salvation.
