Lyrics
Whoa
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Whoa
I’ll see you on the other side
They told me I should stay in my own lane
Whatcha doing here this ain’t your race
You were born a different a color
You should be like all the others
Fuck you and the things you say
Screw this imma make my way
Be mad cause I do it better
Your words won’t keep me tethered
You can cut me up
Break me up
Throw me to the ground
Chain me up tape me up
Hang me upside down
I don’t even care about anything you say
I’ma make a change, yea I’ma make a way
Fuck you I won't do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can't breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side
Black lives only matter for a moment
You only say it if its profit or promotion
You only post just to make you look devoted
But I can see through you and your bullshit
Fuck you and the things you say
Screw this imma make my way
Be mad cause I do it better
Your words won’t keep me tethered
Fuck you I won't do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can't breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side
Whoa
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Whoa
I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side
I’ll see you on the other side
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me
Fuck you I won't do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can't breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side
Fuck you I won't do what you tell me
You got your knee on my neck and I can't breathe
I’ll keep fighting for my life
I’ll see you on the other side

I’ve been a hardcore/metalcore/poppunk music fan my entire life and I gotta tell ya, it’s very refreshing hearing and seeing black artists like magnolia park and kennyhoopla break into the genre and change the narrative. I’m fucking here for it 🤘🏼
I've known his song for like 3 months and I've been ADDICTED to it. This song deserves to go viral, it needs to get the recognition it deserves !!!
I’m upset I only now discovered this band. 🙃
I am glad that this kind of music is still being made.
Im 31 now. And just listening to your music takes me back to my teen years where i drove my skateboard to get around town, hung out at the skatepark with friends and jaming to sum 41, greenday and blink 182. You guys are amazing.
I met this band at the concert I went to where they were the opening band. Everything about them is perfect! Stage presence, vocals, instrumentals, you name it! They’re going to be the new big pop punk band! I can’t wait to see them live again in October
I wanted to see them when I saw them but I didn't see them 😭
How is this possible. Every freaking song is a banger!
So much talent. If these guys dont get huge, theres something realy wrong in the biz
I have to say this.....this song is amazing and I love the message. And I love to see different kinds of people in this genre because punk rock is for everyone! Love this!
I can't play this song loud enough! Good stuff guys! 🔥
Idk if that was intentional but the power of your message on the first verse when you’re saying they’re telling you.. you should be like the “others” there’s a rap beat faintly playing but then when you say F*** YOU it goes away… that was pure genius!
hearing this live was SO DAMN POWERFUL.
I've long said that the world of rock desperately needs more diversity, because there are so many more stories to be told from queer/POC/trans people, even women. This genre can be pretty shitty to anyone who's not a white dude a lot of the time, so it's always a treat to see bands like Magnolia Park (or Fire From the Gods or Brand of Sacrifice or Nova Twins) rocking out hardcore.
And beyond that, these guys are just freaking amazing. They put on such a damn good show.
I’ve had you guys on repeat since you guys came to Portland last weekend. You guys put on a killer show and gave me whiplash lol. Rock on, brothers. Xo
Saw them open for Simple Plan and Sum 41. I had never heard of them before, but loved their music thoroughly.
i just found this band today and im loving it i have many songs on my playlist now
i just found out about this band can't believe I'm only hearing them now such a great song I'm a new fan :) 😮
Yooooooo this band is 🔥. COME TO Nashville, TN!
Boy this band gets better and better love the song keep it up guys!!!! ❤️🤙🔥
I’m a new visitor to the park, but this is F@&king awesome 👏🤘🏿🤘🏽🤘🏻🤘🏾
Heard this song on a reacts channel on twitch and when this played pure goosebumps and it's still the same incredible song !!!
The world needs to actually listen to your words and your vibe❤❤🤘
This is incredible.
As a white boy that's about as emo and punk as you can get.... It's a shame that they even had to make this song. But with that aside, this has got to be one of the best pop punk bands I've ever heard. Color shouldn't matter!! Where's the merch at? Im rocking that shit and spreading the love!!!!
You can tell & feel by the the way Josh sings about racism, how much it hurts him... I'm so heartbroken 🥺🥺 Josh you're amazing!!! fk what they say!!
Damn is like a throwback but with relevant lyrics. I'm loving it
Telling someone it’s “not punk” is the most unpunk thing.
Bro, punk rock has no colours. Loved this vibe!
You would think that right 😂
Cultural appropriation is ok now
@@persecuted. Cultural appreciation is always okay.
Blame the media for portraying certain incidents to fit their agenda to label what different types of race are and labeled them as a whole.
Fuck social media algorithms!
This is so good! The YT recommendations sent a gold mine my way. Love the RATM ref, and heavy topics layed out in an absolute banger.
New song for the protest music playlist 🖤
This is pure Pop-Punk! Down to it's roots! Not just the style, but it's lyrical content. Pop-Punk was founded off Punk which was--and is--about societal problems.
This is what punk is about. Love it!
I love this song.
This is fucking amazing bro thank you for bridging the gap you have a new follower
2022 and we still have to tell stupid people not to be racist god my heart hurts
Such a great band, I can't believe I only found out about you a couple of days ago. Hope you'll play in Germany someday soon, I definitely need to see you :D If Enter Shikari are your thing, contact them and join them on their next Europe tour.
One of my favorite modern bands!! Love their music so much 🖤🤘🏼
N moment
Fucking love this. Never stop guys!
Love you guys. ❤ Keep rockin'.
These guys are fire !!!
This song embodies all that is wrong in Our Country.
I'm 54 years old. I'm a conservative.
But most of all I am and have always been a Christian woman.
I feel your music.
I've loved it all for some time.
The best part of this song is the unbiased and truthful look at what is wrong with our country right now.
I've been around long enough to see the evil that has taken over.
I salute you Magnolia Park for your honesty.
YAAAASSSSSS!!!!
I think this is the song the makes them one of the defining new pop punk bands and not just a tik tok band
Your stuff is fire dudes. Keep on rocking 🤘
Didn't know a song about racism could be so fire🔥🔥🖤🖤🖤
Saw you in concert in sf a few days ago. Your live performances are out of this world! Especially this song. Can't wait to see you again!
Okay now this is sick on so many levels. Im in. 💯
Just got my tickets for Pittsburgh in March! Can't wait!
F the haters. Supporting y’all always!! Song is 🔥 btw.
What a good song !
Just saw you in Denver. Had to come check it out and listen to all the words. THANK YOU!!!
I was there too! I loved it!
👍🤟 you rock
Ima be so real. When I first saw the name I really thought it was gunna be a remix of the building saying ''don't be racist,i am a building''
This song has been on BLAST for weeks now. Such a powerful anthem.
✊🏾🔥✊🏾🔥✊🏾🔥
Nice, i love the classic old vibes.
Heard this song last night at the knitting factory magnolia, sum 41, simple plan were there it was freaking epic 🔥💯 ever since magnolia came out I’ve really liked them
This is an incredible song. I love it
No thanks, I lived through 2020, and the Summer of Fenty Floyd.
So that means generalize all black people? Every race was protesting
@@loganbright6620 Yes.
I just went through hell and this is really really helping :)
Love them so much!!!
It’s terrible that we have to tell people this in 2022 😂
Unfortunately their TikTok posts. Get flooded with racist comments saying rock/pop punks white people only music. And they need to stop asap then back a rapper instead. Very dumb and frustrating..
@@drewjonespdx Lol what the fuck did you actually just say?
Unfortunately, sometimes it feels like society is evolving backwards. The web certainly doesn’t help.
@@dannystarkridesfixed their logic is fucking stupid asf shit look at seven dust they are a huge rock band that's been together since the early 2000s and are hella respected tf is wrong with people
@@dannystarkridesfixed all of those comments are made by blacks though…
Rock You
This feels like something Chester would rock out to. Lol
Damn, great music! Also is Josh single?? Asking for a friend
I haven't heard a good rock band like this in a while. i get a certain feeling when I know I've heard a good band with a great edge. I just got that feeling. The Killers, Deftones and Interpol gave me that same vibe.
Yeahhhh
nice song
One of my fav songs!
NEVER disappointed!!
Whoa!! Don't be racist?! Can you guys say that?! Is that actually allowed?! Wow that is such a brave message not advertised in every single tv/commercial/movie/news media channel, all of academia, every major corporation, and all of government. Lmao what a joke
this is legit the famous last words of the new generation i stg
I need to see these guys live so badly 😭😭😭
This band will be the next pop punk sensation
I saw you on my fyp on tiktok im follwing you as 100% support. Never thought id see a black punk emo band in my lifetime as a black emo🥰🥰🥰
Stunning and brave
Love it. I bought this song, soon as I heard it a few weeks ago. As just a lyrics video.
First video I’ve seen from this band, love the sound and the message.
Is this song on the Halloween Mixtape?
Great song, guys!
Thank you for signing my daughter’s shirt at the San Diego concert!
I love that first "Fuck You!!!"
This is awesome, first time hearing this song, but this music video is filmed perfectly
Why do I wanna see a song featuring calling all captains

It will stay stuck in my head for a long time🤘🏼
