Lack of effort might've been in reference to 2:23 where he obviously forgot the lyrics to his own song (not the first time that has happened) so he spent the next minute and a half just rambling incoherently? It sucks because this rendition of the song started out pretty cool. I'm a big fan of the guy, but he was battling addiction and has put on some really subpar performances over the past 15 years and nobody should be defending them, we should just hope he learned from them and doesn't repeat them once his new music releases.

Bro he has been around 25 years, and he still has the voice he had back then. Name a rock artist who retained their grunge voice after 25 years. Besides the fact he never gets any proper rest and is constantly on the road, give him a little respect. As a rock singer myself, it is a difficult task to keep the voice while going days straight on stage!
This is fucking amazing...and manson has not changed a bit...the only thing is he finally started making his music personal which some really don't understand it but I do and it's great...
