I lived down the street from my grade school in the early 80’s. If my dad had a day off, he would come down with my pony, Dusty, and give pony rides to the kids (it was a small school with less than 100 kids) before letting me ride him home. Great memories that could never happen today, unfortunately.
I had a horse named Dusty! What a great name! She was a gorgeous Bay mare. I miss her so much.
Coolest ever! Those families who ride together stay together.

We had horses and they kept me sane. I am now 76 and widowed so I don’t have property and have downsized dramatically. I love my little house on a small lot but when I see this it fills my heart for these children.

I got a bike bro. I don't have to feed it. Takes a little work to get around but fuck I can use the exercise. Probably going to go ahead and put an electric motor on it too. Already have a solar panel I can use to charge it for free.

I would have given a limb to get picked up like this. I was lucky to have this dream when I grew up. My horse would go anywhere, in tunnels, over freeway overpasses, down busy city streets. She was the best horse ever. Adopted off the race track.❤️

I had a horse.
I trained her for three years and then gave her to the 4-H club where the kids can learn to ride and teach them to care for her.
It's good to see that there is other people who love that lifestyle too. 😊
She is now the most popular kid in school. You can see she is so excited to get so much attention. I love it. Horses are amazing animals. I used to show and had a horse of my own that I shared with my brother in law. My friend would ride her horse to my house and we used to ride around the golf course with my neighbor too. 3 on one horse was so much fun

My grandma taught in a one room schoolhouse in Kansas in 1923. She said the children would ride the farm horse to school and then the horse would turn around and go back to the farm on its own.
Horses always go home, as long as they know where it is.
My Grannie, the school bus was the farm draft horse.
By the time the horse got to the school, 5 kids were on board, bareback.
Horse spent the day in the paddock beside the school with all the other buses.

I love the sound too. A pony came to our Nursing Home a while ago. She was adorable. So was the sound. When she pooped a bit by the Nurses Station ,Hilarity Ensued
That was why I started horse riding.
Horses are used in therpy:s too I love everything about them!! The sound, the smell, everything qnd I could only watch them for week's. Yes you should try riding lesson's or just hanging out with horses they are amazing.
Horses are very expensive to maintain! Keep that in mind if you happen to be living paycheck to paycheck like 64% of the US population!

My youngest daughter, when she was in 3rd grade was being bullied. So i started picking her up from school on my motorcycle. It immediately made her the most popular kid in school, including with the teachers. They let me ride around the line and had her own special section of the kirb in front if all the cars for her. I can only imagine if i would have rolled up with horses!

You do need some property to put them on, some people can work that off in trade. If you want it bad enough you can get a horse! I’ve had 5 horses just given to me over the years!

I mean come on that is priceless!! Somebody said coolest kid ever. Just reminds me when I was a kid, third fourth grade that was riding in junior rodeos back then they were called Jim canis I guess he owned the property. I was so small I could not touch the stirrups they could not bring the stirrups up far enough but I would ride the barrels keyhole and and the poles. It was the time of my life when I think I was the happiest I had a horse my brother had a horse we all had horses grew up on a ranch throwing hay bales at 13 years old after I got shot accidental shooting my oldest brother it was a 45 hollow point, it was stuck in a 45 that was brought back from Vietnam I miss Vietnam by 2 years. But anyway loved my horses

My dad did this to me one year with my horse Gunner, may his soul Rest In Peace. I remember I had an awful school year and I was switching schools so I had to say goodbye to my friends. I believe this was in second grade. So on my last day of school, my dad showed up on his horse, Frankie, and had all of the other kid’s horses with him, Pumpkin, Oakland, Kicks, and Gunner. Unfortunately, Gunner, Oakland, and Frankie all passed away a few years ago. Pumpkin and Kicks are still living their best lives as an old couple. I do have other horses now, Francisco and Bounce Fire. My sister, who owned Oakland, has a horse named Twists, named because of his odd spin-twits he does when it’s time to eat. And my dad, who owned Frankie, now has SkullCrusher, and my mother just recently got her horse, who she named Sissy. Most of these horses are just for fun family rides and make for some amazing pets, but Bounce Fire and Twists are being trained for jumping, which is cool.

Lots of people ride without helmets but this woman is endangering her kids. The kids need head protection. Many riders even use chest protection.
There are sickos who think nothing of trying to spook a horse.
My sweet, calm horse spooked when a gust of wind blew a large plastic bag towards him. He made a sudden turn, slipped on dew wet grass , went completely down on ground with me still attached. He was literally on top of me and I was pinned between him and the grass. He scrambled up...instinct is to get up and flee from potential predators..hooves everywhere. Somehow he managed to avoid hitting me with those sharp, powerful hooves. He cantered back to the barn and fortunately I had disengaged from the stirrups and avoided being dragged back to the barn.
How long did this take? Seconds. Just seconds.
I had a helmet on...chest protection would have been nice...but i was basically uninjured and walked back to the barn... but very black and blue the next day.
What she is doing is child endangerment.
