Great interview. I am a Christian and feel like we (as a whole) did those guys a disservice. We tried to claim them as our own and then threw them to the wolves the second they didn't fit into our little box. I still love them and am so excited about the new album and the possibility of seeing them live again. Dug showing his support for Compassion just shows how beautiful a person he is.

24-7 Spyz, Fishbone, Kings X have been influences to a bunch of big bands but NEVER made it like those bands and that baffles me and these guys are amazing.

great interview Chuck, i've had some of these same conversations with my man. He is honest as one can be. Religion is totally misunderstood and mis-used for profit. It's the doctrineS and dogmas that TWIST the texts up. The CREATOR called by many things, is not religious.
That puts his Beatles comments in better perspective if he was experiencing the band rise and develop in real time, rather than as a catalogue like younger generations.
