I remember this happening before in the 90's , had a mechanic look at a Dodge Ram, it had green corrosion on it's electrical connectors, and some dried mud behind the instrument panel, otherwise the truck looked good.

Insurance companies are not going to report them so just don’t buy them, they don’t want you to know your being fooled 😢😢😢
