I started 1987. Most time you was running the hill up and down. It was a fast growing sport. Every two years i change my equipment for an better one. It's an expensive sport but flying like a bird is unbelievable.

Wow that took me back to the beginning. At 25 my roommate in Sun Valley Idaho was from Queensland NZ. He said you have landed a parachute right? We climbed a mountain and he explained same flair, so left brake right brake RUN NOW!!! I was later sponsored and nationally ranked so thanks for the intro. I'm 57 tomorrow and will go flying asap in Nelson NZ.
Yeah i was less than a month old when this was recorded.... Im glad paragliding has come a long way because i dont think i would be into running down a hill hoping to fly.
