    Hi, you missed to deduct the Property Tax paid in the first instance. After that standard deduction 30% and then the HL interest.

      Not necessary. There are PGs which are taken on rent/lease by the tenants, then premises used for PG​@@adinisar2079

    So CA will give a bypass. Open a company. Take the house on rent from owner on a 1-2 Lakh per year. The PG services would be part of the company business. And then show expenses on it.

    Madam , I am a retired person and have given one portion on rent.can I claim 30% rebate on the rent income or it it is abolished in the new budget.please clarify.

      @@vikrammahajan2355 there is no restriction from taking 30% off on your rent income apart from your claim property tax (if paid)

    Hi, I am blogger and holding GST No due to Crossed Threshold limit. I filed LUT also. Recently I purchased 3 laptop for my business and got GST invoice and paid 24000 GST on three laptop purchased. Can I get refund of this bacause I have zero tax and output. Some excise office said no refund on capital goods but it is for my business.

    You are mistaken, there is a limit of 2 lakh even if you earning rental income

      If you go to Europe, USA and earn live for couple of years.., then you may change your views. Different countries have different ways . Here social security health and education needs lot of improvement.. Corruption in government offices, particularly state government,is the biggest challenge and blow to common law abiding citizens.

    If you tax on rent , ultimately the burden goes to the needful, collage student, employee, comming from villages and their families.
    Their purchasing power reduce, market sales goes low, less GST, less bussiness activities, less employment, more crime rate. You taxed more on fuel , burden goes to aam adami who travels to support their family. F.M. follows illussive golden dear, but pain to all people for years and years. Real estate bussiness suffers a lot, triggers to slow down all banking business. More unrest in people like pouring more oil in fire. FM don't have creative dynamic taxation strategies, to increase happiness in masses.
