Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

I had such sorrow thru a trial that I started to pray as I was balling my eyes out and a peace came upon me like no other. Praise the Lord thru you trials and His Majesty and Mercy lifts you above it. Instantly! Truly amazing...

I so love Spurgeon and the wisdom he imparts, much of which he has personally experienced. My hope in Christ and His Word and His promises are always enhanced after listening to one of his messages. This is one of his best and spoke directly to me at this particular time; I needed to hear these most encouraging words and be gently reminded that I am in training which is never fun, but oh so necessary in order to become all that He has planned for me to become going forward. Thank you for uploading all these treasures.

Pastor Spurgeon was a true minister of GOD, a true soldier, and was very dedicated to his calling indeed.
Just finished listening to his sermon on benefits of love of GOD. Love of GOD gives us assurance to be courageous, because HE will never fail us. No need to fear!
His teaching reminds me of Galatians 2:20, " l have been crucified with CHRIST, it is no longer l who live, but CHRIST lives in me, and the life which l now live in the flesh l live by faith in the SON of GOD, who loved me and gave HIMSELF for me."
His teachings evoke insatiable hunger for the WORD, and it touches the heart mightily for repentance.
The reader is fantastic! You would almost assume, that pastor Charles Spurgeon was preaching from the pulpit.

Irony, went out late today and started listening to this instead of some other podcast. I began in the pm on the 4th, and by the time I'd continued listening into midnight - I heard that he preached this on "yesterday" for my time. Impossible circumstance.
I needed it too, Spurgeon preached something impacting someone many years to the day. Divine, and took me back.
This sermon was *Greatly Needed*

The javelin has been thrown it's in the air traveling quickly towards its only target . It was thrown to it's mark that Sunday morning when the stone was rolled away .
