Mr. Chris Jones should be objectively sitting on 8 sacks minimum considering the 3 ridiculous calls that took away big ones.
I have no regrets about the Frank Clark deal. He helped the Chiefs win a Super Bowl with 5 sacks that postseason.
. .and the Coaches, Veach and players seem to talk highly of him, so he must bring a lot to the TEAM that fans don't see

Funny how most of these talk shows wrote Mahomes off at this point last year when he was showing he was human the first half of the season!

Yes it was 24-0, was 24-28 at half and the game ended 31-51.
The defensive numbers are scewed IMHO. Been ahead by multiple scores in a lot of the games while hurt at LB and CB.

They will not go for Burns. The Chiefs are more responsible than who cares about 2023? Some team will gamble the future for Burns

I agree.. we won't trade draft picks this year because the draft is in KC this year. However Burns is young and proven and would help this D sooooo much. I would NEVER trade 2 #1s... but a #1 and #2 for a proven player at a position of need ... who is young... wouldn't be a bad idea.
Patrick Mahomes is looking pretty good he’s first or tied in every category only playing 70 games as a starting QB. They need to keep running 🏃♂️ the ball 🏈 not only does it open everything up but it helps mitigate the pass rush as well as help the OTs.

Chiefs defense suck!scoring 25, pass yards 30 , touchdowns allowed last. That’s how their defense rank so far.

They haven't been amazing... But they have been progressing, just like most Spags Defenses... The eye test tells me that the rookies are getting better and better and seeing them getting close in a lot of plays when they have just been thrown in is very entertaining and encouraging... Fett ng Gay back and McDuffie in the mix and hopefully Dana back... Whew
@@JohnnyZeroBoo that's a fair assessment. But I believe that D will be a huge factor the last half of the season, and that empowers the offense that is already top of the league

I'd be willing to give a One and Two for Burns... NEXT year... not this year... what they forgot to say is the draft is in KC this year so there is NO way Veach trades any picks this year. I agree with that #1 pick you are hoping for a Brian Burns... so better to trade for him than hope for the draft pick to pan out. However there are other players we could also go after... like Greedy to shore up the CB position... Cooks at WR would add some speed.. he averages 1000 a season with like 8TDs. We could trade Ronald Jones as well. So Veach has options... I trust whatever his decision is. I do think adding Burns could push our D over the top.
