I'll say it again: Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell run this team almost exactly like Popovich and R.C Buford during the Spurs 5 titles and 20+ years of 50-win seasons. It is going to be glorious to watch this thing grow and develop.

I give Decker all the props in the world for staying with Detroit. After going through all the coaches he did I'm surprised he didn't ask for a trade when Stafford did. Decker is all Detroit

Excellent as always, fellas! The thing about them telling Decker about Sewell - that's corporate standard right there. Dan and Brad are not secretive rulers, they are open leaders who understand that the guys on the team, especially the vets and rocks like Taylor, will buy in quicker if they are in the loop. The way that they changed the culture down to including staff and cafeteria workers and stuff (remember that Quinntricia regime had a policy for "the help" to not even talk or bother any players or staff - like a dictatorship)... it was amazing, and it's very much central to how good they are and how good they will become.

My man that crap about forbidding “lower level staff” to talk to people is infuriating. How could any fool think such a demeaning policy could create a healthy winning organization. God it burns me up man. Awful. I know I should let it go but it’s just one symptom of that horrible regime.

Of course it makes sense that youre coming around on Hutch, Boon. Your initial assessment of him was wrong. I was all in 2/3 the way through his rookie season. Not only because of the work ethic you guys talked about, but that far into the season, drafted where you were drafted, he wound up in front of a mic a LOT. Again(Great take Booner), you could tell that this man, his efforts and intentions, were authentic.
I, personally, am down on our offseason. From FA to the second half of our draft. I cant WAIT to be wrong too

Loved the comment about Caldwell. The players respected that man and his ability to get the best out of what he had. The fans and media overlook what he did here in Detroit given what he had to work with.

BTW. I can find the comments. I said off rip Fatty P was gonna be terrible. Look at the last 2 SBs he was in. He won 1 because of the worst HC call in SB history. Not running BeastMode. Then lost at the end to Philly with a backup QB. They were winning in spite of him. Not because of him. He's never been good anywhere
