But if people kill you before you can speak to them, and do this to EVERYONE (so they don't even know what the message might have been) there is no sense in continuing to encourage people to go to an isolated island. We can pray for them and look for any who might leave the island. Find out who would then be best equipped to return as a native islander (of that place) and be able to bring the Gospel that way. I'm sorry to be a downer,but I have read this man's story, and it seemed to me that he had a "martyr's death wish." I don't see where he asked the Lord for wisdom or to guide him in this decision,but just barged ahead making all of his own plans. Did God tell him to go? I know you're not God so you don't know. My advice: leave those savages alone! During the Tribulation, the angels/two witnesses will be preaching the everlasting gospel, so they will hear it then. Anyone who has not heard the gospel before the Tribulation will hear it during the Tribulation. They will have the chance to repent.
There are people that will die before that happens. A lot of revelation has been going on since the beginning of time, some people don't fully understand that coded language of the Book of Revelations.

But if people kill you before you can speak to them, and do this to EVERYONE (so they don't even know what the message might have been) there is no sense in continuing to encourage people to go to an isolated island. We can pray for them and look for any who might leave the island. Find out who would then be best equipped to return as a native islander (of that place) and be able to bring the Gospel that way. I'm sorry to be a downer,but I have read this man's story, and it seemed to me that he had a "martyr's death wish." I don't see where he asked the Lord for wisdom or to guide him in this decision,but just barged ahead making all of his own plans. Did God tell him to go? They taught them about clean food so there is a better chance they will not get sick. Some missionaries have taught the tribes to stop fighting each other and the tribes made peace with each other for example Papa new Guinea. When the Catholic church that came to North and South America they were very bad and used weapons to convert the natives. Not all missionaries are like the Catholic church. John Chau was not a martyr but an obsessed fanatic who valued his obsession more than life. His life was wasted on that island and he knew it would be that way. Perhaps he had a death wish. Those people just want to be left alone. John's life could have been better spent ministering to people in prisons or inner cities. He could have taken at risk kids on nature hikes. But no , he deliberately chose death. His death was more like a suicide.

My advice: leave those savages alone! During the Tribulation, the angels/two witnesses will be preaching the everlasting gospel, so they will hear it then. Anyone who has not heard the gospel before the Tribulation will hear it during the Tribulation. They will have the chance to repent.
There are people that will die before that happens. A lot of revelation has been going on since the beginning of time, some people don't fully understand that coded language of the Book of Revelations.

I have been thinking this all along. God saves, we don't save. If humans can't reach a people group with all these heroic efforts, God will make sure they are told the Gospel in their own language by those angels will be proclaiming it before or during the Tribulation.

Pray that some with the gift of speaking in tongues can tell them about Jesus and get them saved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Also pray that some one that has the gift of healing to pray for the sick people there to get healed.
