Happy holidays on the mainland (perhaps you encounter the Vuelta 2024 cyclists in action :) ). Been several times to Barcelona (and back) on the Acciona ferries, but that was more than 15 years ago when the fast ferries like Milenium Dos etc were still in service. Took these only 4 hours to make the crossing. Looking forward to see the consecutive videos of your journey,. Will you visit Barcelona itself too?
Hi...great video....wow...this trip will be great for filming...that virgin ship...just to big...and the smoke...i would not want to travel on that....all went well with dr mohan...x rays good...very pleases and i can drive again....he said to stick to date on sick note...26th august I see him again in December...you see theres some in right hip as well but certainly not as bad as the left...hes told me all the do s and small amounts of donts....im going to turn the. 😮 next two weeks into a bit of time for me now...staying local.....stay safe love jackie
we tried to us e the ferry this year. They wanted nearly €400 for two people for an overnight cabin....one way!! Most of the operators were along the same price too. Obscene! I live near the Amsterdam ferry and it's nothing like that price. Who funds the residents subsidy? Is it 100% funded by the government there?
It is government funded subsidy. We booked our grandson 26 euros without the subsidy in a butaca (seat). Cabins are expensive unless you book well in advance.
@@SteveandAnitainMallorca I tried booking it 6 months in advance and it still sat at hat price. For June and then again in August. I'm too old to be trying to sleep in a seat and also for safety purposes I don't feel comfortable sleeping in public. The ferries are alot cheaper in Italy and Greece....and the ferry near me to Amsterdam too. Shame as we would have loved to do it but not at that price....especially as foot passengers.
Hi Steve/Anita a very good video hope u enjoy the trip
Gracias por el paseo, con este calor, para ir al ferry.
De nada
Have a good trip. Thanks for filming the sea journey.
Thank you.
What an interesting video, you get super views of Palma from the ferry. Those giant cruise ships are so ugly. Have a great family holiday.
Thank you.
Wow I was really surprised by how large the port was
It was extended for the cruise ships.
Amazing video. Thank for sharing💕
Our pleasure
Great insight on travelling on the ferry crossing

I don't think we will be looking around Barcelona on this trip.
Isn't it so much handier than the fuss at the airport
It was all very smooth for us.
Great video but the boat isnt for me lol. I just have to look at a boat and I feel queasy!
It was a very smooth crossing.
Interesting. The start of your holiday, lovely, I’m like Anita pass the sea sick tablets. Thanks Steve and Anita.
