- This is me racing my 58 Plymouth Belvedere at Firebird Raceway in Emmett Idaho at a race called the Halloween Classic. I had to back off a tab because I was far enough ahead. If not I would have broken out.
That is the most beautiful car of the 50's the thing is a work of art

Yes I did win I have had it run into the high 12 secounds at 106 MPH, It does a 1.8 60 ft Car weighs over 4000 lbs. It is running 500 plus HP right now, But thinking abot building a stroker that will put between 7-800 hp. Most people in their right minds builds a race car no more the 3000lbs more lie 24-2600 .:)

@LES6723 nah dude, the 57 had a smaller set of middle lights, a different grill badge, different fender decorations, and the lower grill was vertical rather than horizontal, definitely a 58 :)

I saw one of these (same color) at New England Dragway in 79-80. Full roll cage I think, stock interior, NASCAR angle plug heads. Zoom. Pulling 10's if I recall correctly.

Chrysler was always ahead of its time in body design their cars were more aerodynamic than the competitors such as ford and chevy Chrysler cars were lower had the low long sweeping design if you compare the 50's cars you can plainly see they were ahead of the game
