I think Vanessa is a class act, still had his back even though he hurt her. Whether he realises or not, that was the biggest mistake of his life because she would have been beside him until the end.

he’s aged in light-speed since his…ordeal…with amber. Of course aging over nearly 10 years is absolutely normal but he seemed to defy aging for so long, and he looks his age and perhaps even older now. It’s incredible how mental stress can damage your looks and health so quickly and severely. Don’t misunderstand, Johnny is still one of the most handsome, charming, and talented actors to this day, but it’s sad, you can see the toll the past decade has had on him.
His speech pattern was much slower on the witness stand IMO.

From what i have gathered Vanessa was unhappy in her position as his wife - not being able to have a career as a singer. While he was working she mostly was with the kids. So that eventually led to the, arguing and emergence of his problems. I am so happy that they decided to split up on friendly terms - even though it is hard, or course. Being honest to your children is the best thing to be.
You can still have feelings and respect for people even though you are not sharing you lives anymore. I have seen many cases where former partners with kids don't talk to each other or about each other. Just because it went too far with one or both being unhappy.
I'm not saying that Johnny is perfect. But what is bad is the relationship that came afterwards. He did not deserve that problem that is AH. From what I understand, AH rehashed and twisted his background story with Vanessa to favor herself. An inconsistent account of alleged events caused by her alone.
So you think working for someone else who don t give a damn about her would make her more happy than being a wife, and taking care of her kids and educating them was depressing and frustrating ? And what has ensued was a complete train wreck. How things might have been different if you simply would have stayed the course with those children until they were through their adolescence. You can have people coming in to do body work for your actual physical body to release the memory of all this. You will lose 20 lb. Get in the pool. Just walk around in circles. Play some uplifting music. Nothing dark. Play some smooth jazz in the background. You need a diffuser with some essential oils in the background. Make this a Milestone in your life that leads you back on track. Retrace your steps. Set some parameters. I know you know how. Get into the light and stay out of dark corners.
