  • Mint Fox is here to help you transfer your account from your physical SIM card to a fancy new eSIM. An eSIM is a SIM that’s embedded in your phone and can only be modified digitally. The “e” in eSIM doesn’t stand for “easy,” but it should, because it’s easy as f*! (we said fox).
    1. Connect to Wi-Fi and check the App Store (on iPhone) or the Google Play store (on Android) to make sure the Mint Mobile app is up to date on the device you’re installing the eSIM on. Update the app if one is available, then open it and log into your account - 00:45
    2. Select “Account” then “Order Replacement SIM” followed by “Get an eSIM.” If “Get an eSIM” isn’t an available option, that means your phone isn’t eSIM compatible and you’ll have to stick with a physical SIM card - 01:05
    3. Select “This is my new device” to confirm that this is the phone you wish to install the eSIM on, then complete checkout by tapping “Order now.” You’ll be prompted to install the eSIM once the order is complete. Follow the steps on your device and wait for a confirmation message - 01:30
And that’s all there is to it. Feel free to toss your physical SIM card or keep it if it has sentimental value. You can also use that SIM card slot for a second line if you’d like.

Can I put the physical "Old" SIM into my android tv box in my car (which accepts SIM cards to use while traveling), or does activating the ESIM "disable" the physical SIM card? Great vid.

Fix your mobile app! It won’t save my email and asks for personal info every time I launch. Gets stuck in that screen.

Thanks for having the worst reps and referral programs. Got screwed out of $60 because your reps couldn't figure out the difference between Share The Love and Refer and Friend. Glad that +10 reps, over 3 months, continually told me I would receive $45 for each referral and that they should just use the Share The Love sim cards. Literally no one at your company is willing to take care of a customer for their own lack of training. Why refer anyone to a company like this? Why as a customer would I refer friends to a program that credits me $60 less and lock those customers out from being eligible for the actual Refer A Friend program. Why say anything good about your company?

Rumor has it Mint only supports eSIM for Apple X and above. Not everyone bought into the overpriced Apple philosophy.

Correction only iPhone XS and later are supported because, all phone before don’t have it. the X came out in 2017 it’s 2023. A iPhone XS cost 200-300. Same for the iPhone 11.

Had Mint on a recuring 3 month plan. 9 months in they charged me for a year and would not refund the excess charged. Dishonest company.

The 3 month plan is to get you started, once it finishes to keep the same prices you gotta pay for it yearly.

The title of this video makes NO sense. If I already have a physical SIM card why would I want to switch to an e-DIM? Please explain. If I get a new phone with eSIM I would go eSIM because it is simpler with no need to pry open something to slide in a physical SIM card. The problem with the MintMobile webiste is it has too much humor and not enough explanation of why I would want to do something. I have a Pixel4a now on Mint Mobile with a physical SIM. I will get a new Pixel7a with has the capability of eSIM. How do I switch my service to the new phone?

New IPhones don’t have physical sims anymore so if you’re coming from and old phone you would *have* to switch from a regular sim to an esim, so the title actually does make sense.

I have 3 sims but only 2 sim holders so I want to make my mint one an esim as its my international sim. There are reason for some people but not everyone
