Nice job Jesse, I couldn’t get a straight answer about what percentage to keep it on from the others. 👍🏼
Hi there! Great video. I have a question for you - Is it normal to have the tank fill up despite having the continuous drain set up? I have a Danby and this continues to occur. Can you provide any help on this? I’m set at 60 with the continuous cycle on. Is this typical???

What should I set my dehumidifier too in a basement. Does it need to be at a higher or lower percentage?
Did you ever get a answer? I would like to know also
DDR583R model ... it drains at the back, not the bucket ... ??? I do not have the remote ... how do you set it up to drain in the bucket ??
no. it wasn't helpful. i'm trying to understand the icons for the timer, do not have to instruction manual, and can't find any helpful youtube videos explaining it. there are two icons... one is a dash and one is a dash with a square. i want to be able to turn my air on with the power button and then have it shut off in 30 minutes (i just want to cool the air a bit, i don't want it to run all night long). i tried setting it to .5 and nothing ended up happening.... i guess i'll just mess with it. i think i selected .5 on both icons once too.
Does the warm airflow have to be pointed at the area I'm trying to dry or blowing away away from area

Where is the filter for this machine?
The humidity adjustment buttons no longer work. The humidity level is stuck at 58% and I can't bring it down. I have unplugged it and restarted it. Is there any way to do an at home fix? Danby Model DDR261. I have checked the online manual and can't find a trouble shooting remedy.
TC Buchanan hey I just had the same problem - but I think I figured it out. If you have it set to continuous operation (the button on the left with two curved arrows), it won’t let you adjust the humidity - it just runs continuously. If you turn that feature off, you should be able to adjust again.
What do those buttons do though
susulemons EXACTLY.
Hi there. You can actually find out what each of the buttons do in each product's manual. For the specific dehumidifier featured in this video, just visit this page: www.danby.com/products/home-comfort/ddr030becwdb, scroll down to "Downloads", click on "Owner's Manual", and then when you open up the PDF, scroll down to page 4.
Hope that helps!

Getting an EC error code. What does that mean?
That would be a temperature sensor error code please perform a hard reset by unplugging it for 5-10mins then the error code will be removed. If the error code continues to show up please fill out a case form here www.danby.com/support/ and we would be glad to help you.

Hi Micah, please give your unit a hard reboot. Unplug it and plug it back in after 15-20 minutes. This allows the unit to go back to factory settings. If you still encounter the same issue after performing the hard reboot, don't hesitate to contact our consumer support team at consumerservice@danby.com or fill in your information at www.danby.com/support/.
My new unit arrived with broken float and cracked water bucket.
